Molto soddisfatti di questa esperienza. Incantevole location in mezzo ai vigneti e con un percorso ( sopratutto per chi ha bimbi al seguito) in cui puoi vedere vari animali da fattoria. Da vedere la cantina di tufo! Ottimi i vini acquistati con prezzi onesti. Buono il pranzo nella simpatica sala molto ben curata in ogni particolare. Ogni piatto è stato gradito, dagli antipasti alla grigliata su pietra ollare. Ottima l'idea della tagliata di frutta prima del dolce. Una lode al fornitissimo cestino del pane: pane, grissini, trancetti di focacce e pizzette.

We greatly enjoyed a nice dinner on the terrace of this restaurant. The service was very friendly and the 4 course menu was a great deal with fantastic wine at a very low price. We chose a bottle of Barbera d'Alba from a winery just above the restaurant called Bosco Giovanna. Great value and highly recommended.

We visited this pizzeria just because it was the only place in the area that still had free tables for lunch and we were not dissapointed!!! The pizza was enormous and VERY TASTY! Well organised place, nice staff and lovely view on the surrounding hills.

We arrived without reservation on a Saturday evening as a family of 6. Initially they said they were unable to help us, but then they moved another couple who were already seated and two other tables to make a space for us outdoors. Service was friendly, food very good. Menu limited but all dishes tried were lovely. Compared to meals in the more touristy places this was good value. I recommend making a booking so as to not miss out. Grazie mille for fitting us in!

My pizza and Picky Partner's mixed grill were the largest serves we have ever had! We could only get through half and the kind staff packed the rest for us to take home. My pizza also had the most topping I have ever had. Overall, great - and generous - food, kind wait staff and great value. Definitely recommend and we would be happy to return.

If you're looking for a good at-home, down-to-earth, true Piedmont eating experience this is the place! Friendly restaurant, off the tourist track, with parking in the rear, come here with an empty stomach and plan to spend some time to taste all they have to offer. Everything was so good that it's hard to choose a favorite, but don't miss the carpaccio with celery, lemon & oil, and the fantasy salad. No lack of great pastas and meats to follow. Definitely will be back here again....and again.

You could pay much more almost amywhere in the world, and not eat as well as at this modest trattoria. Pautassi follows the tried and tested formula for an Italian trattoria- one partner front of house, the other in the kitchen'Front of house' is an excellent host, speaks English and French, and possesses a considerable knowledge of food and cooking. His partner cooks to a very high standard.Located beside a castle and park in an interesting little town between Asti and Alba, it,s well worth seeking out.

This restaurant was chosen based on the recommendation of the owner at the Inn in which we were staying. My husband and I couldn't have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate my birthday. The service was attentive without being pretentious and the ambience had a modern vibe to it. But the food is the real star, deliciously prepared and artistically presented. We were allowed to observe the chefs put the finishing touches on our dinner. This was done through three large round windows separating the dining room from the kitchen. The vegetable platter done three ways was a portrait on a plate and the foie gras appetizer were two of our favorites. But the real eye candy came at the end of the meal when we were served a Black Cherry dessert with a taste to match the look! Our server also helped us select a wine the paired well with our dinner as we were not familiar with many of the local wineries.

I got the impression that this restaurant has high ambitions and to serve really nice gourmet food. I do not think they meet this level. The best I had was the grilled meat, the rest was unfortunately a disappointment.
