I'm not an adventurous person at all, I'm the world's pickiest eater. However, I have been trying to find something that would match the grinders in NY and CT... Saw Basil's on the Waitr app... Tried their panini... Fantastic! Ordered it three times now :) I don't know about anything else, but they have a killer Panini!

I honestly only ate here because I had a coupon. After reading the reviews, I figured, "what's there to loose?" I was pleasantly surprised. Usually, ABSOLUTELY NO so-called Italian restaurants in my area actually know how to prepare an Italian meals. Since I'm obviously non Italian (or even prefer Italian) I still don't know if it was authentic or not. What I do know is, it was much different and some what fresher than what I've had before. I enjoyed my shrimp Alfredo and my daughter had a true Italian dish that I fail to recall. Both were different but good. It's an old building, not the most welcoming, and only a certain type of people go there from my observation. It was a little pricey and kinda out dated for the price you pay. The salad cart was very unusual. Kinda like a hot dog cart though. Ask for seating away from the band if you like loud noise. Overall, I'd go back (even though Italian isn't my thing). I think you just may like it!

I've been looking forward to eating here for a while now and was not disappointed. We sat in the bar and were promptly greeted. Started off with the cheese fritters (a must) and mussels. I had the seafood pasta which was loaded down with lump crab meat, gulf shrimp and crawfish tails over a generous portion of angel hair pasta. Ten members of my family met at Amerigoâs to share lunch on Fatherâs Day. As anticipated the restaurant was very crowded so we had about a 45 minute wait for seating. Once seated, we had a splendid meal. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and attentive. Our diverse orders were quickly taken and delicious, hot meals were served in short order. The atmosphere is what you expect in fine dining. I love the areas that allow you to look outside. The service is great. My favorite appetizer is the cheese balls with marinara sauce. They are delicious. I love the salmon dishes. For those special occasions, whether your party is large or small, I recommend Bravo.Thank you, Jennie! Your praise has made our day. We were visiting from Florida. When we arrived, the hostesses were super nice and friendly. We were seated and had two glasses of water in front of us almost immediately. I thought, âWow, this is going to be great.â We ordered two iced teas which were also brought quickly and then everything went south. I will not elaborate on all of the petty details, but it took approximately 45 minutes for our food arrive. I will say the food was very good. I wish the service had been better.Hey! We are so sorry again about your experience. We should have communicated better and sooner about the backup in the kitchen and done more to make your experience less frustrating. Thank you for contacting us and helping us understand how we can be better.
