Sale e Pepes came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. We were seated overlooking the water and the breeze coming thru the patio area was quite nice. The decor is very classy (for St. Maarten) yet comfortable. The menu is quite extensive, having something for everyone, tho' slightly on the pricey side. However, the portions are more than adequate. And, they have a large number of specials in addition to the menu. It seemed to take awhile to get our meals but that gave us time to savor the great bread and very flavorful olive oil. Our server was very friendly and good with the kids. Several staff came by to make sure everything was to our liking, including the chef. The food was good - probably the best meal we've had on the island. I'm adding Sale e Pepes to my list of "go to"s for a return trip to St. Maarten.

This place was recommended so we tried it. It's next to the American University and sits among several other eateries. I ordered lasagna. The sauce was overwhelming and underwhelming in taste. Hardly any pasta. Most a meal sauce. Very disappointed. My colleague had the chicken and it was so so. Wouldn't recommend, although the service was very friendly.Hi,are you sure you came by us? Spaghetti house is probably one of the very few Italian Restaurant still owned and managed by Italians.The Lasagna is 6-7 layers of pasta and bolognese sauce tick and we sell no chicken at all.

To have this caliber Italian restaurant on St. Maarten was a surprise. The upscale modern furnishings and the wonderful food was thoroughly enjoyable. The pasta portions were large. We came home with doggy bags.

We arrived late from our flight so we wanted something simple and easy. We were delighted at how good the pizza was!! The dough was tasty and crisp. Their pizza options had a nice variety too. Also, their daily specials and pasta dishes looked good. The bar has some good drinks and you can enjoy the view of the water!

If you are looking for a good thin crust pizza in Maho, this is the place. The crust is thin and excellent. There are variety of toppings available. The shop also has some pasta specials, and also serves ice cream. Our pizza with a variety of toppings was $18 US. The ice cream and gelato is four dollars for a scoop and a half. The Owner is very friendly and appreciative of your business. There is a table inside, and a number of tables outside on the patio. It is very informal and also has a bar.

Pretty restaurant but disappointing food Bruschetta came out and was great. We thought we were in for a treat. We ordered eggplant parm, fusilli pescatore and lasagna. Sauce was bitter, and other dishes were flat. Salad had so much dressing, we couldn't eat it. Go next door to nona rosa, you'll love it.

Best stop I had in Sint Maarten. FANTASTIC food. My wife and I had french onion soup, Fried calamari, the sopranos pizza. Pizza stood out from any others. Ness continues to do a wonderful job with the place...best pizza on the Island in my opinion and his full service dinner menu with daily specials is and has been just superb. Each dish is prepared when ordered...all with fresh homemade pasta...a better meal is hard to find.
