The food here is so good that hurts. There is no menu, there is no "Brazilian rodizio", just a batch of dishes made in Brazilian-Italian Heaven; baked seasoned chicken; french fries; mixed salad (tomatoes, onions and tomatoes); "polenta frita" (fried corn-based dough sticks); breaded veal "a la parmigiana"; beef steaks; several different pasta dishes (including a legendary gnocchi); and other goodies. Bonus: it is all you can eat: you empty the plate portions served (by amazing waiters) on the table and they keep refilling them... All this for an incredible fair price. If you pay a visit to Caxias do Sul and don't pay a visit to this place, you are a fool...

Caxias do Sul is very well-known for their italian immigrants. And Alvorada offered me one of the most italiany experiences I've ever had. The Capeletti Soup was perfect, and the Galeto was crispy, golden and full of flavour. Great meal!

A visit to the Lacave is a great experience in Caxias. The old castle is beautifully restored and in the dining room you feel like attending a banquet in the Middle Ages. However, you should be able to speak Portuguese ... there is no English menu and the staff can not help also. Apart from this the dishes we chose 'blindly' were delicious and the glass-house champagne and wine were wonderful. The rest of the two bottles we have taken home ... ;-)

The place is nice but with a lot of noise since climbers are training inside . The pizza is very good , with integral wheat , very different . Is served on a piece of wood and you eat with hands . Nice to visit

This place is brilliant 'all you can eat pizza' which is brought out fresh every couple of minutes amazing flavours and great ingredients. From steak and chips pizza, calabrese, vegetarian circa 40 varieties and it keeps coming. Thin crust amazing flavours. Then for dessert sweet pizzas that are also fantastic chocolate sauce and strawberry, banana and cinnamon, peanut and caramel. Every bite is a wow moment! It's my favorite restaurant from all the ones I've been. The food is amazing, the service is great! It's a bit expensive for the options around, but definitely worth it! The best one, if you're visiting the city, add to your list! Remember to get early though, for lunch, before noon and for dinner before 7 PM.

Gostei muito do penne ao molho de queijo e maçã acompanhando o filé ao ponto que pedi. Nota 10! Um show de sabor. A sobremesa foi um Petit Gateau perfeito, que foi o melhor que já comi. Preço mediano, porém justo. Vale a pena.
