We popped in for lunch. I had a pizza & my wife a seafood stew. The beachfront location is stunning but it was hot. My pizza had a bit much topping which led to a soggy base, but it tasted great. The stew broth was a little oily & not tomatoey, but still good. A 4 out of 5 for sure.

We arrived and order two large bottles of sparking water. Two bottles of San Pellegrino arrived and they opened that at the table. They poured for the kids first who were young and thirsty. Then we noticed their water looked kind of orange. We tasted it. It was BEER! The San Pellegrino bottles had both been reused and resealed and one of them they refilled with beer by mistake. Of then two of our kids were too sleepy to eat. So if they are serving fake off brand beer and water who knows what's in everything else. We didn't take it out on the local staff who seemed genuinely surprised. But will contact the owner. I know refilled bottles are common in Thailand but thats why you to better restaurants. The pizza was very good but we were too unhappy and dealing with the kids to care. See the photos of how the retrofitted the bottle caps to reuse. Very disappointing that a decent restaurant would cheat us. They should just serve local sparkling instead of faking high price San Pellegrino.

Great service and views and honestly the yummiest Italian food ever and we're regular pizza and pasta eaters! Lovely hospitable service.The prices were a little steep, we paid about $100 AUD for a shared entree, one pasta and one pizza and I think 1 or 2 cocktails and beers each. But not complaining as it was so yum.Thank you very much for your sterling review! We're so pleased you enjoyed our tasty authentic delights! We received a warm welcome with big smiles from the serving staff and kitchen staff. Food was excellent. Service was very attentive and professional. Excellent menu with wide selection of pastas and sauces. Extensive drinks menu. Menu includes a combination of fixed dishes as well as Mix & Match. We will certainly be back.

Went here for both dinner and breakfast as whilst we were staying here we struggled to find our version of good food; we thought this was the best!We tried quite a lot on both the breakfast and dinner and liked the things we tried. The dinner was better than the breakfast and I would recommend the soft tacos. The atmosphere is lovely as well - very chilled and relaxed and the staff are friendly and helpful - I think theyâre English so know what makes a good breakfast! Thank you for your lovely review, I'm so glad you enjoyed everything.

Food was too salty, frankly no surprising because the tomato sauce was a canned sauce, expected more for the price we paid. The restaurant was very hot, it seemed like the owner decided to save some money on the AC electric bill

What a very nice restaurant! Inside it is special and cosy. The owner and his staf are Italian and very friendly. We choose a dayspeciality, fresh pastaâs. a mediterrian salad, a pizza, bruchetta, burratta and a good Italian wine.Everything was really very good. We wish this restaurant all best. They diserve it!

Located on Beach Road in the heart of the Fishermanâs Village. This is definitely not one of your standard Thai/Italian eateries, which there seem to be an abundance on Samui. 2 Fishes Samui would not be out of place with the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne.Itâs modernist decor, exposed polished concrete environment and black timber is actually quite comfortable. The placement of the kitchen within the restaurant allows patrons to watch the chefs at work. You can tell that owner/chef, Leandro, has worked in quality restaurants around the world just by the layout, the immaculate/cleanliness of the kitchen and the pride he has in his staff and the quality of the food.For starters we went with the Queenfish Carpaccio and the Roasted Eggplant puree, dry Olives, Pomegranate, Pecorino Cheese and Crostini. Both of our starters were amazing, full of flavour and impeccably presented.For mains we had the Prawn Risotto and Wilted Broccoli & Ricotta filled Tortellini with a pork sausage and white wine sauce. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, al denta just the way it should be.Highly recommended if you are looking for great Italian food and are happy to pay the price for a quality dining experience. You canât go wrong with eating at 2 Fishes Samui.

I will add another rave review for this fantastic little restaurant. The Italian menu is creative and uses fresh local ingredients (like fish) with Italian pasta, cheeses and flavours. There is also an excellent Italian wine menu. One of the best restaurant meals ever, authentic and delicious Italian food in a lovely space, with excellent service and atmosphere. Very highly recommended.
