Recommended by our hotel we are in this restaurant twice. A typical Italian restaurant and it seemed to be rather popular among locals. They have a good choice of different pizzas, but my choice was pasta with seafood as a starter and pork the first evening and seafood antipasto as a starter and beefsteak the other. Nice and artistic desert. The portions were very tasty, but rather small and as often in Italy, you'll need to order potatoes or whatever you wish separately . Friendly service.

What should I say about estaurant Anna? I like EVERYTHING about it: friendly atmosphere, cordiality of owners, speed of service, the great Monte Amiata. But above all there is the heart of the success of this restaurant: food is the KING. Every meal is absolutely at highest level.

We had lunch at this restaurant on Tuesday mid March. We were the only tourists. All others were locals. All of us had a pasta dish. They were all just perfect and quite huge.The restaurant is located in the woods just outside Abaddia. We can higly recommend this restaurant and it is not expensive.

Not for you if you're into the indispensable air conditioning unit and Philip Stark designed American Bar, or if you need high speed Internet in your room to keep your blog and Facebook pages up to date. Wi Fi is only available in the bar/restaurant and the structure is a bit dated (bits of it could easily enter a late-sixties revival competition) but the beds are surprisingly comfy, the nice view from most rooms is over trees and rocks, and you can hear the birds in the early morning.Food is simple local fare, with luscious fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, hearty polenta with wild boar and pici with spicy garlic sauce. Well grilled Tagliata or lamb cutlets are to be had, and the house wine is quite decent strong local red; a three course meal should not set you back more than 20 to 25 Euros.You can get bed and breakfast in a double room with a dated but very clean bathroom for 60⬠a day in high season, or go for the half board at 120 ⬠for two. You can ski literally from the hotel's doorstep and in the summer nice walks are to be found just outside the front door, to help you work off the calories and the friendly owners and staff will be happy to help point out the highlights in neighbouring villages.

We tried this restaurant for dinner. I had the pici pasta with ragu and my wife went for the lasagna. Both were good if unspectacular. Adequate is how I would describe it.

It is a simple restaurant but with real Italian food. If you chose pasta they will serve it " al dente" if you want a bit more cooked you should ask for it. The house wine is good and cheap. Good relation price / quality.

We had our most memorable meal of our trip here - mainly because it was in a forest up a mountain, at the bottom of a ski run. Food is plain and hearty, very decent and designed for cold and hungry hikers. Service is friendly, not fast. Cosy atmosphere with smoke from the fire. We had a wander round, and then drove further up the mountain. Some very smart holiday homes. Ski lifts look in need of serious maintenance.

Great restaurant set in a quaint village we came across on the way back to pienza from saturnia. The manager and chef were very friendly, good honest people, the house wine was delicious, the tiramisu and pannacotta to die for and just 3 euros! The mushroom and ham pizza was so good we had to order another one! Definitely no tourist trap!Thank you so much for your review. We chose for our costumers a short menu in order to provide an high food's quality.
