After our experience last night, we were not excited about dining out, though necessary when traveling. Today we were quite fortunate; Leah waited on us at Jamieson's Irish Pub; the Pub fit our need for good food, good atmosphere, and Leah provided great service - if excellent is better than great, then her attention was excellent. I had the fish tacos with a fine pilsner. My husband had the lamb shanks with a glass of house red and a salad. We were both satisfied. To top the meal off, I ordered the bread pudding - a bread pudding to put others to shame. It was the perfect texture, the perfect taste, and topped with generous whipped cream, Irish cream, and a berry coulis. It is the best bread pudding I've ever had. This place is an Irish pub with a lot of rooms. I got the impression that they have live music sometimes. The food was good and about what you expect for pub food. The service was excellent.

I really cannot give this place much of anything. If you are into a bar with a âfrat houseâ atmosphere and no interest in keeping the place clean (especially the overflowing toilets in the washroom) then this can be yours and yours alone. We sat down and within a few minutes we knew if wasnât for us and we left without ordering. This was a Sunday afternoon after a Mooseheads game.Hello Paul,Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Cleanliness and standards of operations are taken very seriously here at Durty Nelly's. We were here two years ago and really enjoyed it so we went back. Three of us went for lunch on Monday, June 3. Food orders were fish cakes for two, fish and chips for me and a cup of chowder as an appetizer for one. All the food came at the same time, appetizer and main courses. Hmmm rather strange that the person in our party who ordered two courses had to decide which one would taste better cold. The verdict was that the chowder was excellent, the fish cakes bland and my fish and chips were just on the warm side of cool. Service was good but having everything we ordered delivered at the same time was a deal breaker. I should mention that it was not busy, so no excuses for cool food. Sorry, but we will not return.Thanks for the review Susan! That's not how it's suppose to be at Finbar's! I'll definitely follow these issues up with our staff. Cheers!

On a warm summer afternoon, we entered Seamus David for a cool refreshing drink. We were warmly welcomed by Nyia and promptly given bar and food menus. Fairly soon after ordering, we received our drinks and tasty hot wings. What a great way to end a day of shopping, tasty hot wings and cold summer like drinks all served with efficiency and warm hospitality!
