Not. Go. Here. For. Coffee.Hallo Mogeltoft,deine Kritik am Fillet of Soul ging leider ein wenig an die falsche Adresse. Du konntest es nicht wissen, aber wir vertreten das Café Fillet of Soul auf Wunsch der Deichtorhallen während deren Betriebsferien für 14 Tage. Leider hatten wir eine zu kurze und ungenügende Vorbereitungszeit. Du hast uns an unserem 1. oder 2. Arbeitstag besucht, und da waren wir mit der Situation noch unvertraut und reichlich gefordert. Das hat bei dir vielleicht den Eindruck von Unfreundlichkeit hinterlassen, was uns wirklich leid tut. Und wir haben ein verändertes und reduziertes Angebot zum Fillet of Soul.Den Kaffee (serviert auch das Fillet of Soul ) stammt aus der Hamburger Kaffeerösterei Carroux und schmeckt allen Gästen - und auch mir ausgezeichnet. Die Brezeln wurden frisch geliefert und stammen von der Hamburger Bäckerei Pritsch. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, das Du dich mit deiner Kritik direkt an uns gewandt hättest, dann hätten wir die Chance gehabt, dich zufrieden stellen oder dir etwas Anderes anbieten zu können. The Perle Restaurant is a neighborhood restaurant away from tourist crowds. We had a very nice dinner and the service was quite good. We each had asparagus soup and the Vienna schnitzel which were tasty and generous. Would return if in Hamburg again.

Location: Close to the Gänsemarkt in a small side alley so pretty close to the city and within easy reach of the shopping area.Staff: generally friendly and knowledgeable but not overly enthusiastic and not really caring (glasses empty, no asking of more water is needed...)Food: May have been bad luck as people with other dishes on our table have been more satisfied but sorry my two lithmus tests for a good kitchen were not passed. The Labskaus was actually dry and overpeppered and the Wiener Schnitzel was way too small (two delivered to make up for this) and the coating far away from what should be delivered. Add to that fatty and soggy Bratkartoffeln and a way too acidid cucumber salad: the food was not enjoyable.Ambience. Rustic but a bit too much on the noisy side.All in all: Hamburg does offer way better food for decent prices.

Four of us dined here based upon reading the TA reviews. The menu is quite limited which is an observation, not a criticism. On a plus point, the service is excellent and cannot be faulted. The homemade breads were a nice touch. The complementary amuse bouche of serano ham and melon with a broken bread stick was a bit disappointing. My chosen meal though.... it was average at best! I selected the fish soup with the large crouton and rouille (â¬9.5) - it was possibly the worst fish soup I have ever eaten. Very watery, more like a broth, and literally didnât have any chunks of fish in it. This is usually my favourite starter and one that I usually always pick at french bistros. My main course was the whole sea bream with pea risotto (â¬26.5). As the menu said, it was a whole unfilleted grilled bream served with a side bowl of risotto and a few dressed leaves. I naively thought it might have been fillets laid on top of a risotto bed. It was okay, nothing special though. The 3 rating is because the other guests did enjoy their meals, otherwise it would have been lower from my perspective. I just didnât think the food was good enough so wouldnât recommend or return here.

This was a delicious seafood experience for my family. Three of us are seafood nuts; the 4th abstains vehemently. He enjoyed the burrata appetizer and seafood-free tagliatelle w/butter and Parmesan cheese. The rest of us fought over the tuna tartare appetizer and greedily gobbled up our dorade and salmon mains. One of us ordered the âLiman Mixedâ entree w/3 different filets of fish but he didnât enjoy it as much as he enjoyed his bites of dorade and salmon! The service was kind and generous and we were so glad to have visited a restaurant off the tourist-beaten path.

This restaurant is located adjacent to the lobby area of Hamburg Kempinski Hotel Atlantic.High end cooked daily dish, in an old style, classy atmosphere. Lobby seating.Old school table service, correct and professional.Thursdays they serve Black Angus rump steak, and Tuesdays Wiener schnitzel.Price/value is very ok, a main dish and a soft drink for Euro 15.The restrooms, located towards the conference rooms, are a bit "Agatha Christie" style, and general condition, and surely need a soft renovation, and some replacement, however, this review concerns the Atlantic lunch & restaurant, which was excellent by all means.

My expectation was very high since I knew already this restaurant from a visit back in 2017.Everything went very smooth through the small menu until the meat.I did mention to the sommeiler that I wanted a glas of red with the meat coirse and he completely forgot. Once the meat was on the table I did not solicit the red wine since I would have eaten cold meat. In a 2* restaurant this should not happy.After that, service has been slowing down and a series of mistake have been done. The 3 waiters in charge of our table disappeared for a long time, the impression was that there was a party going on in the kitchen.Ordered an espresso and did not receive the small patisserie, which btw is for sure always ready. They brought it 10' after I had already finished my espresso.I had to wait 30' and solicit twice to receive the check.I did remember from my last visit that the small leaflet with the dish description should be placed in an apposit envelope and asked for that, the waiters did not do it.Overall over 3 hours and a half for the small menu is way too much.We left with a bitter taste because we felt abandoned. We hopped in a cab frustrated at not being able to find a restaurant, asking the cabbie to take us to a good restaurant district.We drove for a few minutes and he stopped right outside this tiny frontage that looked nothing like a restaurant strip.âThat is the place you wantâ, he said.We couldnât read the German menu at the front, but we decided to venture in.Amazing!The part owner served us and the wine list was one of the best I have enjoyed in a long time.The food was first class flavour and taste bud enjoyment.You can walk in here and get a fine dining experience at midnight if you wanted.The owner was a fun guy, great sense of humour, and his passion for the customer experience really shone through.The 3 of us ordered different meals and rated each one highly.If you believe in something and hold that conviction, you will not fail, and Heldenplatz proved that again for me.Itâs not whatâs on the plate, but how they dance together, that makes a great meal.This place has all the moves.

I had a really enjoyable meal at Sagners Bistro while in Hamburg visiting the Christmas markets. Pumpkin soup to start was delicious, very flavorsome and well made, served with some bread.Mains were just wonderful, pork selection was enormous, 3 kinds of pork served with chipped potatoes and salad, goose was perfectly cooked and great to have something different. Portions were a little on the large size but we did our best to finish the plates.Wine list was good or you could order wine by the jug.Service was outstanding, the lady owner was very hospitable and welcoming. Donât let the location put you off and do come hungry as you will leave full , very full !!

If you enjoy a good steak with some of the best service in Hamburg do yourself a favour and book this restaurant. Can recommend Estancia w/o any hesitation. We kick ourselves to finally making a point to visit this restaurant so late in our stay while in Hamburg. It was simply outstanding. The food is excellent and the service is 2nd to none. There are simply no faults, except maybe they can get busy, but that's what reservations are for. Vielen danke!
