Best International food near Tromso, Northern Norway, Norway

Reviews on International food in Tromso, Northern Norway, Norway. The fjords and mountain ranges of Tromso are simply magical. Here, the northern lights sparkle across the same navy blue sky that's illuminated by the midnight sun. You'll be spellbound by Tromso's enchanting fishing villages, fragrant botanical gardens and crystalline waterfalls. Music is a major part of the Tromso culture, particularly techno and electronic music, which adds some thumping thunder to the city once a year during the annual Insomnia Festival.

We booked Compagniet for our New Year's Eve special meal, it was a fixed taster menu and we also had the wine pairings. Both the food and wine were very well cooked and one dish in particular was fantastic; it was a pea veloute poured onto scallops, prawns and cod roe. The cod roe gave a wonderful salty burst into the very delicate pea veloute - one of the best dishes I had in 2018.The service was impeccable - polite and unobtrusive. Thanks to all at Compagniet !Thank you so much. We appreciate your experience at Compagniet. When the guests are happy - we are happy.Have a nice new year.Best regardsFrom Compagniet

Great quality and beautiful service, nice fit out. Complex flavours from a relatively small menu.We chose samosas. An open chicken sandwich (which had great Moroccan spice flavours) and a lamb burger w tzatziki / mint dressing. I loved the wine flight option to try their Italian, French and Spanish wines. Also in an excellent suburban bust to the airport of for sightseeing.Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed both the service and food as well as our wine flight option.

We had heard about this place and had luckily booked a table in advance. It was quite busy, lots of tourists celebrating New Years in Tromsø. The service was good and the food was very delicious. Our high expectations were met and we will go back if we’re ever in this city again.

Spacious and cosy restaurant with rich variety of dishes. We serve many types of pizza, delicious biff and lamb dishes, tunisian cous cous, as well as desserts that won't leave you disappointed! Welcome!

For authentic Italian far from Italy, Cous was a great choice. It is a little further out than the Main Street with restaurants, but worth the short walk. My ravioli was cooked al dente and my husbands carbonara delicious. The staff and super friendly and helpful. This restaurant is intimate and great for a group. Prices were reasonable and the wine list comprehensive.

Attracted by the amount of great reviews, I decided to try this 5 stars restaurant in Tromsø. Although I am not a great lover of nouvelle cuisine, I must say that I was convinced by this restaurant and.... had more than enough excellent food during the dinner. The deco is more than simple but the warm welcome by the owner and the staff gives you an excellent feeling right from the start. The staff is very friendly and super efficient throughout the dinner. The menu will make you discover the local specialties and is strictly based on the local ingredients available at the time of your visit. The selection of wine is also very good. The price is certainly not exaggerated for the quality and the diversity of the dishes you receive. Well done to this sympathetic couple who created this restaurant! You can go there without fear, you will not be disappointed. NB. Suggest you make a reservation as the number of table is rather limited.
