During our two days in Port Barton we ate here three times and found the owner to be friendly, the food good and excellent portions. On arrival i had a fishburger , in the evening fish and chips, returning for a delicious breakfast the next morning. The restaurant is one street back from the beach and also they have simple clean rooms there. The price of the meals were very good , compared to other places, particularly the breakfast.

I enjoyed a lovely chicken and corn soup here for just P120 that was extremely filling. A calamansi juice at just P50 was very good.Service was initially a bit slow but given the food quality, the former can be forgiven.Seating was comfortable and tables are well spaced. The seas is only 25 metres away

The owner of this place really knows what he is doing as Port Barton had few tourists during our September visit but everyone in town seemed to be hanging out here in the evening. Great service, cold beers, good music and friendly company, as well as a waitress coming round with free shots. I must add that we came here for drinks only but the food looked good.thank you again for hanging around with us even your not staying witth us you still having a good time.we always bringing the good vibes to every backpackers and travellers that visiting us..hope to see you again..

Some of the best food in Port Barton with lovely fresh ingredients. Just opposite the large church in town, the restaurant has two tables set on the road side. If no one is around it may seem closed but give gentle knock on the door and order yourself an iced calamansi drink, sit back and relax.Thank you for eating at Vege Love and for writting this review. To start with... I read some feedback ( and as I always do,for a fun, started with the "poor") and was actually surprised that some people have 3* to the place, because they didn't like the beach( it doesn't belong to the place!) Or they have been bitten by sand flies ( and how this can be related to the bar owners? :/..), or the place is too far, etc... The place is wonderful!.. Actually,the only place with a good wibe in the area, with very friendly and easy going owners. I really wish we had more time to stay there. Also, l think people who are coming there, they know, what they are looking for... The place is a little bit remote, it is 15 minutes walk from the nice beach and a pick up is available by the Jungle Bar car from Port Barton. The road can be muddy if it rains, but you came to the Philippines prepared for the adventure, don't you?)The food guys cook is tasty and different from other places offer ( they also make their own bread, which is delicious)...and the beer is frozen cold ( also they have different sorts of homemade Rum)My only regret - we haven't spent enough time in a Jungle Bar. Missing it already, together with it friendly owners and hope to be back in the future!

We came to Port Barton from Secret Paradise Resort. We stayed in Port Barton only for several hours (waiting for our bus to El-Nido) but we would like to visit Port Barton Bistro to try veggie burger and drink fruit cocktails. The burger was perfect, the same as fruit cocktails.

Came here twice, both times we had really good food and service.The vege burgers (banana blossom I think) are very good and highly recommended. Nice range of drinks and great service. Well worth visiting. I would recommend sitting upstairs, it's better shaded and a bit cooler.. Dear Lukeysarbear, thank you very much for visiting us and recommending on TripAdvisor our veggie burger. Did you know that we make thpe patty out of a number of local ingredients. We use ube, singamas, kangong, jackfruit and banana heart along with chickpeas, flour and spices. we absolutely looooooved everything about mojitos, the perfect place to go with your partner for a date night or with a group of friends to share a fish bowl! absolutely recommend this place, we will be back for sure! super friendly staff and the food was amazing! they also use enviromentally friendly bamboo straws and even give you some mosquito repellant on nights when theyâre out to play. this place is perfect and i wouldnât change a thing!Thanks so much for the big thumbs up at Mojitos.
