We were staying nearby at the Hilton and decided to go here for dinner since weâd been here a couple of years ago. We got the pepper steak lunch special and the Greek meatballs. Very good food, busy restaurant, lots of people.

Went to Matboden on a Wednesday early evening, family of 4 (two kids pre-teen). No issues getting a table without reservations but the restaurant quickly filled up behind us. Service was pleasant and very friendly. The Swedish meatballs were authentic and excellent. The wienerschnitzel was slightly less traditional and amazing (especially the sauce and seasoned butter). The char was perfect. Simply stated, everything was wonderful, but the crispy potatoes and vegetable side dish stole the show.

We visited this pub after seeing it in our travel guide. The barman we spoke to was super helpful and knowledgable about beer and recommended several options to us and allowed us to sample some as well. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and such an amazing selection of drinks!

First the positive -- the service was fantastic - helpful - friendly - attentive -- Second the very limited menu options are all interesting - they are one bowl / plate complications of ingredients - some were inspired other simple interring. An excellent wine list is available with both 'budget' priced and a selection of 'fine' wines. The wines by the glass are well chosen and worth a look. reservations need to be made in advance if you want to eat early - we when to the early sitting which filled up with diners very quickly which increased the noise level to the point where it was like being in a crowded bar. The tables are way too close together. A real shame since the food deserves a better environment in which it can be properly enjoyed.

If youâre looking to splurge for a fantastic memorable meal in Stockholm, look no further.... Wedholms Fisk will provide you a scrumptious opportunity to enjoy the finest in international dining! Yes, you will need to replenish your wallet before you begin your next day, but you will do so with a complacent smile. The menu is laden with fish cooked in a variety of styles with sauces that the great French chefs would do well to memorize. I had salmon in a champagne sauce that would provide an exemplary illustration of what it means to âreduceâ your sauce. You must try this! And get up early tomorrow to exercise! It will be worth it. My wife enjoyed the most delicately prepared, lightly grilled scallops in a delectable butter sauce. Wonderful! And bring a camera - these entrees should be at the forefront of your Stockholm photo album. The wines by the glass were excellent and numerous; the servers were professional and amiable; the atmosphere was subtle and chic....All in all, Wedholms Fisk is the ultimate in fine dining. This was a superb evening comprising great food, with many great choices and really friendly service Between us we managed to try half the tapas menu and are resolved to come back and try the other half. We particularly enjoyed the charcuterie and the halloumi fries, but to pick two out is unfair on the rest. The lamb, shrimp dumplings and goats cheese with honey were also excellent. Indeed, across 16 choices we did not find a bad option.For beer we tried the draft beer. Don't. The draft is average, however the 100 watt IPA is an unexpected delight.Service was exceptionally friendly and chatty. We were made to feel very welcome. A great place and highly recommended.

Lovely evening with incredible food, attentive but not intrusive service, impeccable wine list and opulent period interior. We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing and we weren't disappointed. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. We were treated with a few bonus courses which were also delicious. This restaurant is worth its Michelin star. We will return!
