We have visited this place several times for lunch. The regular menu has plenty to choose from and then they have the specials of the Day and season's specials as well. Regardless what I have chosen, the food has always been very nice. The service is good too; staff is very friendly.Dear Carsten J., thanks for visiting our restaurant many times. Der Service ist leider nicht abgestimmt. Neben dem Mittagsmenü wurde uns auf Nachfrage ein Spargelmenü angeboten. Auf weitere Nachfrage wollte man dann auch eine Speisekarte an den Tisch bringen. Diese erhielten wir nur durch Hartnäckigkeit. Man sollte schon Zeit mitbingen.Die Portionen sind nicht zu üppig. Ein Spargelgericht mit 2 Stangen Spargel zu servieren ist schon grenzwertig, besonders wenn dann die Sauce schon trocken wirkt. Hier hat der Service zum Glück ohne Nachfragen gleich frische Sauce nachgeliefert.Das Baguettebrot entpuppte sich als Graubrot und die Quiche war leider kühlschrankkalt. Bei den Preisen gibt es hier Potential nach oben.

Planning a visit to our German part of the family in Lower Saxony I asked the them to book a restaurant for my partner and my anniversary. They chose their favourite nearby in Bad Bentheim.What a great surprise.Keilings was elegantly simple from the outside with a warm welcome awaiting us.The service was impeccable and charming with the staff slipping easily between German and English to explain the menu to each of us. We opted for the 3 course menu although the top menu of 7 course looked to be a gastronomic treat.A beautifully presented meal with exceptional textures and intense flavours ensued accompanied by a range of excellent wines from Keilings extensive cellar.I won't describe each of our meals since the menu changes frequently but I can recommend that any vegetarian advise the chef in advance and leave him to create a menu for you. This is what our 'veggie' member of our family does each time she visits and is never disappointed.A truly memorable visit and worth travelling to experience if you are anywhere near this area of Germany or Holland.

This off the beaten path restaurant is lovely. Inside and outside seating now. In the summer there is the (German version) of golf and the corn maze.Plenty of play equipment for the kids.Very popular with the locals on a bike ride. We came early and were still setting up but happy to let us in and take a seat.MASSIVE cake portion sizes! Very tasty and good coffee.Since last time they have built an new extension, which makes it even better for bad weather functions now.Plenty of street parking.
