We stayed next door and had eaten breakfast here every morning for three days because we liked the food and the girls who worked there were nice, then my friend noticed a small menu under the espresso machine that offered various types of higher quality coffee drinks so she ordered one that had an option of "regular" or "freshly ground" so she ordered the freshly ground coffee. About ten minutes later a big white man (the owner) barges up to our table red-faced and obviously furious and started yelling at us "YOU CAN'T EXPECT US TO GRIND FRESH COFFEE FOR YOU!!!! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!?!?!" I thought the guy was going to attack us, and we could see that his poor workers were terrified of him. The situation was incredibly bizarre and all of us were pretty shaken afterword. There are so many places owned by nice people to give your money to on this amazing friendly island, don't spend your money supporting this angry bully.

I am writing as this is happening today, September 01, 2014, 7:34 PM. This concerns Brent, the "waiter-extraordinaire" of the establishment. I've been looking for an outlet to plug my laptap and personal wi-fi until I found this small space for coffee drinkers. Permission was granted on my request to use the facility. Out of "delikadesa" I ordered brewed coffee they're selling just in exchange for its use. Although it is open to all customers, I was the one who used it the longest. After a while I was offered water by him. I gave him a grin. "Sir, do you want some water?" I approved of his asking. What a nice guy offering something to drink for me. We conversed a little as I was busy on my lap-tap. As the exchange of kind words progressed, he offered that I could take a nap beside the tables for customers as I have told him I will be at the departure area by 3 am. If all waiters are like him, business will succeed as his attitude towards customers is applauding and welcoming and can lure even more coffee drinkers to patronize the outlet. As a gesture of thanks I offered him a slice of pizza pie. Good attitude, Brent!

A Taste of Filipino home-cooked dishes...

All fish and dishes we wanted were not available . In an island .. it's a sacrilege . We should be eating like kings after joining the Camiguin 360 ultra marathon .That's 64 k thru the circumferential road. But we were too exhausted to venture far for dinner . This place was walking distance from the church and our hotel . The first floor was fullOf Families and young children We were seated on the second floor that was not air conditioned . But had ceiling fans . Instant corn soup was watery . Bagoong rice was good . They used fresh pink bagoong. The rest of the food was so-so. Nothing stood out . The calamares was 90 % flour with a thin strip of squid . The sisig was salty . The fish fillet passable . I wouldn't visit a second time .

Small family owned restaurant located across from the Yumbing Public Market. About 1 mile west of Luna Restaurant. Building is constructed of native materials, no A/C but excellent ocean breeze. We had several meals here as service is fantastic, meals tasty and prices very reasonable. They were preparing a wedding reception and had a nice lechon laid out for guest. Pizza looked ordinary but was very tasty and toasty. Standard pinoy dishes available. Sorry no photo of their menu.Dear edinsk, we appreciate that you enjoyed your stay with us!

The newly opened restaurant is a nice surprise. We went there several times to try the different dishes on the menue. We liked the curries (chicken, vegetable) and the soup (chicken I think) a lot. The fried rice was nice, but unfortunately we didn't like one spice in it. The spaghetti were "al dente", but still we would have liked them a bit more cooked (and therefore less italian original). The cook is very interested to improve his skills and mostly asked how we liked the food. The overall athmosphere is very nice, no loud music and it's away from the street.Thank you for your comment very useful.

Came across this place while exploring Mambajao, it's tucked in behind all the motorellas in a baskeball court/market place. Simple decor but delicious food with a varied menu - the sandwiches are really tasty and go well with a nice cold beer. Even came back the next day to buy some small snacks (chicken curry rice balls and banana nutella empanadas yum!) before a trip to Mantigue island. Friendly service and prices are very reasonable. Great place to go if you're in Mambajao.

Having struggled for some two days to find a restaurant that served to both of our tastes we stopped at Northern Lights as we were cruising expecting to only find a less than adequate eatery/restaurant for lunch. We loved Northern Lights, we were still waiting for our lunch to be served as I went to ask my Filipina partner “are we to come here for dinner this evening?', I didn't even manage to finish asking the question before she replied “YES'. :)Their menu is more than adequate with portion sizes large, we ended up eating at Northern Lights for two days before leaving the island and we have no hesitation in recommending this place, overall I offer it 4 stars but for their ice cream, that I didn't get to taste, my partner offers them 5 stars. :)

the food was ok, took too long to serve, the owner was friendly we were enjoying ourselves until we received the bill, shock shock shock the over priced of the food was bad enough then the owner in his greed added on 5% service charge to the bill, this is a real con and an insult we Filipinos do not add a service charge, never ever again will we step foot in that pizza joint, yes the setting was nice but too far out off the highway and town. go there at your own peril.Ripped off? Never in over 4 years of serving local Camiguin natives and so many visitors from around the world have we ever heard that one. We have way too many satisfied customers, 80 % of whom are filipino, to take your review seriously. Also know that most Filipinos are not accustomed to tipping waitresses. I suspect you are one of those. So because of that, our 5%service charge is shared and goes directly to our waitresses to help them raise their families. We see none of that for ourselves. After being away for almost a year in Davao to assist my wife's Mother in her last days , we are back in Little Bridges by popular demand. Our former customers have returned thank you God, and continue to enjoy our old dishes and some new ones. Sorry you are not among them.

We 'discovered' Casa Roca a few days before we left Camiguin which was a shame. If they had had space, I would have extended my stay but all the rooms were booked so I can only comment on the restaurant.Which is fabulous! Great food (mostly Western dishes with an Asian twist) with many and varied specials all at very reasonable prices.Happy hour beer and delicious cocktails at good prices all set in a lovely garden overlooking the ocean perfect for sundowners. The service was exceptional and the music was perfect; background 'chill' catered to the clientele rather than overly loud pop music that the staff want to listen to.Jim and Evelyn have done a great job here; highly recommended.
