If your thinking of going to this popular restaurant i would book in advance. Excellent service was followed by excellent food and wine at very reasonable prices, a must visit if your in Santa Ponsa.

Great place for views of the bay, local drinks and great food, situated on the boulevard donât be put off by the entrance to through to the rear and enjoy the view, popular with both visitors and locals who enjoy a game of dominoes whilst discusses the news.

Looked up a few eating places before we went to Santa Ponsa and took the list with us. We had put down Manolo's restaurant as a place to eat but never did as three doors down was El Jardin and their menu seemed ok so we went in. The food WE had was very good, so much so that out of the 6 days we were there we ate there for 3 of them, it would have been more but Tuesday was bad weather and when we got to the restaurant it was very busy, and they didn't seem to be coping with the sudden influx, as we got there one couple got up and left saying they had been sat there for twenty minutes and basically "ignored" and the only seats were on the outside and it was just to windy to enjoy the meal we did the same which was a shame as we were looking forward to it.I can recommend this place, but not if it's mega busy.P.S.We ended up across the road at bar Sebastian... If you like listening to microwaves pinging and eating an overpriced mediocre meal then this is the place for you.. certainly not for us........ do yourselves a favour and avoid.

Definitely for the more upscale crowd for people trying to be seen, which is definitely not me. However, the food is great. The service not so much. Once we placed our orders we never saw our waiter again until we payed. In my opinion I think he thought we werenât going to spend a lot of money on bottles, so didnât come around. Glad I visited, but donât need to come back again. Definitely worth a visit if in Perguera.Warm welcome, delicious food, great wine.I particularly loved the zander fish dish, so good, I had to go back twice!My only small negative comment would be the smoking of other diners. Nothing that the owners can do about it, but maybe worth trying to book 'inside' the restaurant rather than outside, if this affects you. But otherwise a really great restaurant. We were well looked after by our waitress who was great fun - and we also liked to meet the chef when he came round to each table after service.

Dined here twice whilst staying in El Toro. Both times the food was excellent, friendly service and lovely ambiance. It doesnât have the views of eateries in the port, but itâs well worth a visit. The food is cooked beautifully and they offer gluten free options.

Situated a few minutes of the main drag is this great wee restaurant, we booked a table for 19:30, on arrival the owners son was having his second birthday party.This made no difference and we were welcomed by the owner menus produced, the waiters went out of their way to ensure everything excellent.The garlic prawns excellent, the steaks melt in your mouth, also a good choice of wines reasonably priced, we could not eat a dessert just an American.Toilets excellent, you can see why this rated so highly, if in Paguera drop in.

Purely review of what I believe was described as sirloin top or topside, everything else may be fantastic. Place itself is OK, nothing remarkable. The steak is totally devoid of taste and a wee bit rubbery. The giveaway is a total lack of any evidence of fat. Being used to world top quality scotch beef steak we are maybe spoilt but these steaks were too lean, fat equals flavour. Had better at the grill house and godfathers, bemax now. If you like succulent juicy fatty flavoured steak, don't go here or you risk getting what we got. Lean steak may look good but looks don't make for taste. Visited Bistro Steakhouse after reading reviews and was not disappointed. We chose the mixed steak platter and we were pleasantly surprised when the chef brought it to our table to explain each cut of meat. Nice touch! The price was rather high and presentation could be improved but food quality and service was great.
