Grou is a small place that comes alive in the summer with boating holidaymakers, and supports a fair number of Dutch Cafe/Restaurants, but itâs sometimes good to have a change of cuisine! Kota Radja bills itself as Indo-Chinese, and offers English menus, but the descriptions are brief and indeed completely underwhelming!! A very friendly cheerful waiter was happy to help, and indeed adjust dishes as well. The food came as large steaming portions of very tasty âAsianâ food, and we left having enjoyed the change to a âdifferentâ cuisine for dinner

The restaurant mainly offers a choice of different rice dishes (specifically satay or fish or vegetables or even meat or a combination). Our chose "Jakarta" offered a nice variety of dishes, well varying in spiciness, but not regarding the taste, which is much the same.The service is pleasant, informal, easy

De ontvangst is vriendelijk en de reservering is netjes uitgevoerd, zodat we een tweepersoons tafeltje krijgen bij het raam. Een buffet met voor de voorgerechten met drie soorten soep en uitgebreide heerlijkheden zoals oesters, garnalen, gerookte paling en zalm aangevuld met sushi hapjes. Vooral de haaienvinnensoep vond ik erg lekker. Daarna de keus uit tepan yaki of wokken. Gescheiden buffetten staan opgesteld speciaal voor de tepan yaki en speciaal voor de wok . Twee koks bereidden de gerechten zorgvuldig met veel aandacht een plezier in het werk. Het toetjes buffet deed ook veel mensen watertanden o.a. door de chocoladefontein en verschillende ijssoorten en vruchten. Een kopje koffie behoort ook nog bij het all-in menu. Heerlijk gegeten dus in een gezellige ambiance.
