We ate here after reading the tripadvisor reviews. We ordered the set meal offer. The popadoms and starters were fine. The curries however were very poor. The chicken consisted of really small square pieces, heavily processed and quite tough. Both sauces were extremely thin and watery. Chicken tikka masala should be creamy, this was thin, a very pale oange colour, with no taste whatsoever. Any bought jar of tikka masala sauce would have provided a better consistency and flavour. The chicken madras had the consistency of gravy, there was some mild spiced flavour to this, but not much.I cannot understand the positive reviews posted, unless watery curry is popular in some areas. We later had two meals at the Indian Aroma which were both excellent.

Oh man. Tandoori mixed grill. Magic.Dahl, lovely. Korma, superb. Tikka masala, possibly best I've ever had. Without doubt the best Indian ok in Lanzarote at least. Very very good.

The restaurant looked very enticing and despite we being the only 2 in the restaurant it was fine. The waiter was very friendly and chatted to us about the food, the weather and Brexit !! We started with a shared chicken chaat which was tasty and ideal for 2. We followed with a chicken rogan josh and a prawn jalfrezzi with pilau rice and a peshawari naan. An excellent combination.Thank you very much for visiting us, it depends on the time it is usually necessary to book but there are times when there is more tranquility. We are glad to know that everything has been to your liking, we look forward to seeing you again. Best regards.

Me and my mam like to have an indian when we are on holiday. We came across this one on tripadvisor. Food was outstanding. We tried something knew and they were happy to no add the prawns in and gave us more meat. My mam said it was the best indian she has ever had when being away. She goes on a lot of holidays and has an Indian ever time!!! I would have to agree food was amazing and great value for money. Defiently coming back on our next trip to Lanazarote

We went for a meal here last night after reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. A good authentic Indian meal at a reasonable price. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the chicken korai. We shared a sag aloo and lentil tarka dhal as sides. It was all very tasty although the lentils were slightly salty for our liking. The naan breads were excellent. If you're looking for a good curry in Puerto del Carmen then this is the place.

My husband and I have visited this restaurant 5 times since it opened in August 2019 and definitely be visiting again soon. The location is perfect for us and the food amazing. I am a vegetarian and the veggie menu is extensive, spoilt for choice.The staff are very welcoming and attentive without being over the top. I'd highly recommend Mumbai Masala to anyone who loves a good curry. Thank you very much for recommending us and for taking the time to write such a positive and complete review.
