This place has become our regular choice of curry venue, especially on Thursdays, for the banquet evening. Excellent food at a very reasonable price with friendly service. Ideally located in the centre of town with plenty of parking. HighlyRecommended

Honestly. The quality is garbage. Now called the spice village??Tikka masala, wow, looked like radio active liquid. Tarka dhal, pureed lentils. Come on guys, You must honestly think that we english are stupid. You couldn't be further from the truth. The garbage you presented was very expensive for the very poor flavoured whatever it was you served us.The last time ever visiting here. Tarka dhal, PUREED LIKE PISS. INCREDIBLE????.This is a honest review. Very poor.

On Sunday me and 2 of my friends visited chilli hut, the staff were very welcoming and polite. We ordered a mixed grill started and 3 curries, all the food came out in good timing and tasted great. Will definitely visit this takeaway again!

Although not in Knaresborough on a Sunday or Thursday when a special menu at £9.95 is available, this restaurant provided good value for money, speedy service and really tasty Indian food. We shared a sizzling Tandoori starter and had lamb jalfrezi and lemon pilau rice (very lemony) plus a lamb sag and mushroom pilau rice. Lime pickle was home made and tangy; garlic and coriander nan was equally tasty. A lovely meal.

This was a spur of the moment choice following the euphoria of finding a parking place in Knaresborough market square. The restaurant was busy with one large party of people who, I suppose, took preference. The restaurant has no licence (bring your own) but we weren't offered a soft drink or water; just given the menus. we had to ask for poppadoms and these arrived without relishes which you don't usually have to ask for. The food arrived fairly quickly but was lacking in spice and, in my case, heat. Very disappointed but, as I said, the one waiter dealing with a large group of people may have had a bearing on the restaurant's usual standards.
