Wir waren zum Essen âBeim Endelerâ.Das Restaurant und das ganze Anwesen mit Fremdenzimmer ist relativ neu erbaut. Nett eingerichtet im Allgäuer Stil mit massiven Holzmöbeln.Kleiner Familienbetrieb:Die Mama bedient, der Papa erzählt einige unterhaltsame Geschichten und der Sohn kochtDie Karte ist klein und fein, eine kleine Auswahl aber alles frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet.Auf Nachfrage wurde uns erklärt, das das Fleisch teils vom eigenen Hof teils aus der Umgebung zugekauft wirdAlles RegionalWir hatten das Rostbeef (wirklich Hammer gut)mit einer Jus die seines gleichen suchtMit frischen Beilagen wie Kartoffelgratin oder Butterspätzle, gebratenem Blumenkohl und Beilagensalat Ein lauwarmer Schokokuchen mit flüssigem Kern, dazu Bananen-Schaum und ein Himbeersorbet rundeten das fabelhafte Essen ab.Gute Weinempfehlung zum Hauptgang und leckere Schnäpschen von Steinhauser zum Abschluss Lea Lister ist hier auch ab und an Gast Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder

We were here a few days staying in the charming hotel with very good full-day support. All meals were always fresh and good prepared. We had always multiple choices. Nice environment, friendly service, good food - perfect for biz meetings !

We looked forward to having dinner at this restaurant especially since it showed 4 stars and looked so nice. When we came in it looked empty and finally someone came to seat us. Although we wanted to sit in the modern part of the restaurant, we were told that it was reserved. Both my husband and I ordered the daily menu which consisted of a chicken vegetable soup, beef goulash and Bavarian cream with fruit. The soup and the goulash with pasta were ok. We looked forward to the dessert and when it came, it was sherbet with apple pieces around it. I asked the waiter about the Bavarian cream and was told, that they were out of it. This was a real disappointment and I did express this to the waiter. He did ask me if we wanted a coffee to make up for it and we said no thank you. Our bill came to over 40 euros and we wanted to put it on our visa. The waiter said he is sorry but they only took a European card. After wanting a better explanation, he said that they would take the Visa card but there would be a surcharge. We were stunned. This is supposedly a 4 star hotel/restaurant and they have a surcharge on a Visa card? Needless to say, we would NEVER go to this restaurant again.Dear âLydNHâ,thank you for the feedback on your restaurant visit.Too bad that our restaurant could not convince you. We are very sorry.We have different restaurants, all of which are designed in the modern Allgäuer style. Depending on occupancy, many tables in these restaurants are reserved for our hotel guests. Of course, we try to fulfill the wishes of all guests, but unfortunately this is not always possible when certain tables are already reserved. We ask for your understanding.A "Bavarian Cream" (Bayerisch Crème or Crème bavaroise) is not completely comparable to a cream. This is a dessert of milk, cream, egg yolk, sugar and various fruits or vanilla or similar. We would gladly have explained this to you on the spot and possibly found another solution.For the payment we accept cash, EC cash, VISA or MasterCard. We ask for your understanding that we charge a surcharge of 10% for a payment of less than ⬠60.00 with a credit card.
