We were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch on our way to Madrid, and found this place. The have tapas, a small menu or a 3 course menu to choose from. We had tapas, which were tasty. Friendly staff.

Stayed at the hotel for a one night stopover, (see separate blog). We ate in the restauarant for our evening meal. Service was slow and indifferent. My wife's fish was raw in the middle. My veal was gristly, tough and chewy. Couldn't be bothered to complain as we were both knackered and just wanted to kip down for an early start the next day. Won't stop there again.

We normally stop elsewhere for dinner when driving from Madrid to Bilbao, but this time, we happened to be near Miranda de Ebro when we got hungry. As we know the Tudanca road restaurant off the A1, we decided to try the restaurant of the hotel belonging to the same family in Miranda. The daily menu (15â¬, even available for dinner; 12â¬ for "half" menu, meaning picking starter or main dish instead of both for the full menu) is very good quality. Portions are big and the dishes are not limited to the same "standard" dishes : we took a starter with tomatoes of Miranda, or a main dish of capon, for instance. The wine of the menu comes from vineyards owned by the same family.
