We enjoyed seafood, salad and pasta,and it was all great! Easy to tell that all food was fresh- we even experienced meeting the fishermen delivering fish directly from the sea, and got to pick what we wanted to eat.Service is the best and the relaxed vibe is awsome. We want to return!

We visited UTMT last night for dinner. What an awesome location! On a point overlooking the ocean with great views. The setting was beautiful and the food and service was excellent. Great seafood, hotel made coconut ice cream and cocktails. The great team was lead by the food and beverage manager, Priyantha with very attentive service. The GM, Annie, was very warm, friendly and welcoming too. We checked out a room while we were there....very good! Would recommend this hotel to stay or for a meal anytime.

We enjoyed an absolutely delicious, healthy lunch in the peaceful garden. The service was super fast and friendly and I had the best chili prawn pasta in my life! Don't hesitate to go :)

Hiri Five 80 was such a relaxing atmosphere, I stayed for hours.You are surrounded by a lush jungle setting, with a beautifully decorated interior, amazing service and to top to off... the most delicious drinks.The owners are such a lovely couplewho have really done an amazing job with everything. We decided to try Salt on our last night in Hiriketiya for the great reviews. Didn't quite live up to the expectations. The grilled fish in the fish taco was delicious, but it was accompanied by a blunt-tasting mayo and a tiny piece of mango. Could be easily improved with a tastier sauce! The chicken burger was OK, but nothing special. Sweet potato chips (or was it cassava?) were soft and tasteless and came without a dip. The place is a generic surf&yoga-place, so don't expect anything Sri Lankan from it. The service was friendly. The prices were high, but in line with the overall high price level of Hiriketiya. Still, there are some nice seafood and curry restaurants nearby with cheaper prices and way more value for money. Hi Guys, Thanks for the positive comment about our service. That is one strength we believe we have in our team. I'm sorry to hear the experience at Salt was not quiet what you hoped. We strive every day to add a little Western Flavor to peoples tables after having consumed many a curry elsewhere. Its always a big challenge training our young team on exactly how the food should look and taste so we will continue to persist with training and education. I love a good Poke since Iâve been to Hawaii a few years ago. Having eating Poke in Hawaii you become a bit spoiled and it is hard to find genuinely good poke places. I wouldnât say that the poke at XXX is authentic, but it was delicious. The rice was especially amazing and the tuna felt fresh. It was a great beach lunch, plus they have a groovy restaurant setting. Super nice place for an afternoon lunch, for sure.
