Manchmal passiert sie einfach, die Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Ganz rational ist sie meist nicht, aber gute Gründe hat sie trotzdem.So geht es mir mit dem Bio Bistro Grün in Bad Neuenahr. Es ist nicht spektakulär, aber es hat mich irgendwie in den Bann gezogen. Es ist ein tolles kleines Bistro innerhalb eines Bio-Supermarkts unweit vom Bahnhof. Herzstück des Bistros ist eine Mittagskarte, die etwa wöchentlich wechselt. Sie besteht aus etwa sieben Gerichten, von der Suppe, über den Salat, bis hin zum Drei-Teile-Essen, vom veganen Essen bis zum Fleischgericht. Und alles ist Bio und auch weitestgehend saisonal. Daneben bietet das Bistro auch Frühstück an, hat ein paar Kuchen im Angebot und sehr leckere frisch gepresste Obst- und Gemüsesäfte.Das Essen ist ohne Abstriche super lecker. Das Bistro-Team ist so freundlich, wie ich es in der Gastronomie bisher selten erlebt habe. Man merkt, dass das Herz des Teams in ihrer Arbeit steckt und vermutlich habe ich einen Teil davon beim Essen abbekommen ;-).Ein winziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Das Ambiente könnte noch etwas gemütlicher gemacht werden, etwas mehr Deko, gemütlichere Tischanordnung, wärmere Beleuchtung.

Auf der Dienstreise hatte ich (deftig-heftige) Vollpension. Als ich dieses moderne und gemütliche Restaurant entdeckte, ging ich zum Abendessen hierher und nicht mehr in mein Hotel. Die selbst gemachte Minzlimonade - ein Traum! Der Salat mit Humus oder die frischen Heringe. Lecker!!! AuÃerdem ist der Wirt ausgesprochen freundlich und die Bedienung schnell. Eine Bereicherung für Bad Neuenahr!
