Visiting the city of Zadar allows you to follow ancient pathways of the Illyrians, Romans, Venetians, Napoleon... You can feel a touch of history by walking and exploring the city walls, the Forum (city square from the Roman era), the Romanesque Cathedral
We first went there because the place we wanted to go to was full, again. Lucky us! Wonderful quiet garden in the middle of Zadar, the most pleasant service (an exception in Croatia), good food, nice wine. They had a baby seat. We went there twice.

Wow! This restaurant was the closest, most highly reviewed restaurant to our accommodation. So we staggered there after a long drive We thought we'd have an early night, but it was so much fun. Luka, our waiter, and our cook ( sorry - didn't get your name) made us feel very welcome. We ordered the lamb done in the oven - and it was spectacular!! And washed down with a few bottles of local Malvasia, it was a wonderful meal. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch with my friend in this restaurant! The grilled calamari was like heaven on earth, and the risotto of my friend was awesome as well! Prices are not cheap but not so expensive either, if youâd like to eat quality food in Zadar, then this place is a must-visit!

Very big and tasty portions. Our pasta was full of mussles, fried squids worth recommendation as well. Waiter brought wrong dish, but within 5 minutes we got correct one. Quite cheap, close to the center, tables outside only.

Nice little restaurant. The waiters are friendly and speak English well.We were lucky to get a table at 7.30 - and only waited about 30 minutes.Pizza Mozzarella and Calzone were Really nice. The only thing we didnât like was the loud tecno music, nur still the prices are so cheap that you can actually not complain about something like that.

We had an excellent dinner - quality ingredients, very well cooked on the grill that is very much part of the dining of the area. Really enjoyed the simplicity of steak and chips accompanied by grilled courgette and peppers, washed down with a draft Karlovacko, the local lager. Highly recommended

Little family restaurant located in the heart of old town Zadar. Best burgers in town! Friendly and attentive service! YOUR BURGER PLACE
We had lunch in La Famiglia thanks to reviews on TripAdvisor. The risotto with shrimps was delicious and vegetarian pasta seemed to be very good (my husband took pasta). It should be a choice for a lunch or dinner, if you're in Zadar.

Oh, how I wish I had more time in Zadar to go back to Gricko Grill. It's comfortable, affordable, friendly and delicious. Hubby and I went here on a recommendation from our boat guide. After 9 hours touring the Kornati Islands we didn't exactly feel dressed for dinner out, but we felt very comfortable here the moment we arrived. it was an easy walk from the marina. Such a lovely find.

Traditional Dalmatian cuisine modernly interpreted and served in an enjoyable surroundings accompanied with the best cocktails in town.
We went here when it was raining it was very quiet so didn't get the feel of how it might be when busy. The staff were friendly but not very attentive considering there were 6 people in there. However! The food was sooooo good! Loved the decor also! We would return
