Ordered the T-Bone steak on the waiters recommendation and boy I kid you not this was definitely one of the best steaks I have ever tasted cooked to perfection juicy and succulent I could eat it again now leaving this review Confirmed my love for Zadar â¤ï¸

Went to this restaurant because we passed by several times and were always attracted by the 2 pigs on the spit turning and turning and looked great!One evening we went in. We should have known from the start that we expected more then they would deliver. Service very slow, but what do you expect with only 2 servers in a full restaurant. Menu looked ok. My partner is from Croatia and said we should try the suckling pig, so we gave it a try. Over an hour after ordering, the dishes arrived. I myself immediatly said no....this I won't eat. There were unidentified boiled bones with some grey meat on it on my plate with some fries on the side. I could not eat this and sent my dish away to order a steak instead. The side salad never came but was shown on the bill...they took it off after we requested it. The fried potatoes we had ordered came after we asked for it again and they were swimming in butter.... My partner started with his porcdish but after a few bites was also very disappointed. As I said, it looked like the carved bones with some meat were just thrown into hot water to boil it, no seasoning and no attractive presentation. The steak on the other hand was ok and even juicy. But.....like the potatoes also swimming in fat. I like it a bit fatty but this was too much. Then we heard from another table that payment with credit card was not possible because of the storm. After this table said they could not pay then and needed to go outside to collect money, suddenly the creditcard machine appeared to work again...... All in all it did not give me much confidence. I accept that there might be a difference of cultural awareness about food and so. But this restaurant to me does not meet up for the prices they ask for their dishes. ( our bill was 429 Kuna for 3 main-courses and 3 beers) As a restaurateur myself, I would not recommend this restaurant and would look further because there are better places more worth the money. I hope the management of this establishment is open for my critics and will see this as an oppertunity to improve their service. Otherwise a lot of innocent people/tourist will have at least one disappointing meal in their stay in Croatia. Good luck to the team.

We had lunch in La Famiglia thanks to reviews on TripAdvisor. The risotto with shrimps was delicious and vegetarian pasta seemed to be very good (my husband took pasta). It should be a choice for a lunch or dinner, if you're in Zadar.

Oh, how I wish I had more time in Zadar to go back to Gricko Grill. It's comfortable, affordable, friendly and delicious. Hubby and I went here on a recommendation from our boat guide. After 9 hours touring the Kornati Islands we didn't exactly feel dressed for dinner out, but we felt very comfortable here the moment we arrived. it was an easy walk from the marina. Such a lovely find.

Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Location overlooking the harbour with big glass windows all round. Atmosphere very relaxed and informal but stylish. Staff couldnât be more helpful. Would certainly recommend.

We ordered truffle pasta, shrimp risotto (in the picture; the pieces of onion in the dish were like little pieces of heaven, not even exaggarating), brancina fish and lasagna (the most unique sauce flavor iâve ever tasted, delicious) and everything was amazing!! The waiter recommended excellent wine. We ended the meal with a coconut cake and cheesecake. The restaurant itself was very modern, small and cosy. Very clean and the staff was so nice. If youâre in Nin, definitely visit this restaurant!

We had an excellent dinner - quality ingredients, very well cooked on the grill that is very much part of the dining of the area. Really enjoyed the simplicity of steak and chips accompanied by grilled courgette and peppers, washed down with a draft Karlovacko, the local lager. Highly recommended

Pros: Smokey Bacon was really tasty, not biggest in size, but not small, just middle sized burger :) Pizza was also rly good. Staff is friendly (not usual here in Nin :D), and really quick, waitress came to our table in 1 minute and meal was ready in about 15 minutes, even when the place was full... Cannot forget 'bout beer - it was good! :) Cons: fries was weak, "home-made" BBQ sauce looked, smelled and tasted just like ketchup from market, who knows why? and there were no paper towels on the table... there are some issues to improve, but overall we were very satisfied :)

My family and I had a wonderful meal at Bistro Punta. The seafood platter was delicious as was the grilled squid. The pizzas are just as good as the pizzas made in Italy! The staff are very friendly and as it's a family run business they seem to take extra care to ensure their guests have a pleasant dining experience. It is well worth a visit.
