Visited today with myself and family. The waitresses were all friendly. The portion sizes for the amount you pay wasn't the greatest. Why do places insist on using little bowls for everything. The children's meals were a nice size however the burger bun was rock hard. Mentioned to the waitress and a new one was sent over. However yet again it was rock hard. So went and used the bread rolls from the salad bar. Did bring this again to the attention of the waitress however nothing was done. No refund offered or anything for the fact that part of my daughter's meal was inedible. Unfortunately this is now the third time in a row that the meals have been unsatisfactory, we really did try to give the benefit of a doubt over a 6 month period. However we shall not be returning.Michaela L, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide. We appreciate you bringing this experience to our attention. Visited on a Sunday evening, restaurant was quite busy. Atmosphere was good, server was very good making sure we felt welcome and gave a personalised service. Starters were delicious, Chicken and chorizo skewers and ribs. I loved the menu and could have ordered every starter. The chateaubriand was fantastic, all the sides cooked well and the glass of wine recommended by the waiter was the perfect accompaniment. I donât often pass on a Sunday roast but I am glad I did on this occasion. This place is on my re-visit list. We came in for a meal tonight after visiting for a quick drink a few weeks ago, we liked the atmosphere so came back to try the menu! Visited here on Bank Holiday Monday greeted by very nice and friendly member of staff and seated. Prompt service for our drinks order. We ordered the pancetta, mushroom and pea penne and mushroom risotto, both really tasty and piping hot, dessert was really nice as well. All staff really helpful and as we were leaving our door was opened as we would have struggled as my husband is in a wheelchair which we do at many places, top marks and will return.

Having been to the sister restaurant we decided to try here. And to be honest, we prefer this one. It's a larger, lighter restaurant and the food was better. Our prawn and chicken wings starters were delicious as was the cod and mixed shish mains. Washed it down with a lovely shiraz. Staff are great and friendly and it's very good value.

Called in for tea after retail therapy. The staff on entering were very helpful and directed us to a table straight away. Our Server "Danny" was really pleasant and chatty and nothing was too much trouble for him from beginning to end. Danny told us that there would be a wait for an item we ordered due to the cooking time involved and so we ordered some sharers while we waited, these were absolutely delicious. On arrival of our food, it was immediately commented on that the wait was worth it, well presented, piping hot and extremely tasty. If there is a downside at all, there was no option of Almond or Soy milk for a latte perhaps something to think about for the lactose intolerant etc and as is my criticism these days of all restaurants who serve burgers, no choice of burger bun. Not everyone likes Brioche!! None of it is enough to prevent a re-visit, helped massively by the great staff and food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will certainly return.
