This place must have a new butcher since the 2016 reviews. The entocote was as thin as the soles of my boots and as tough. Chips must have been fried four times they were so dark. Salad garnish had been plated at least an hour before.! Sauce was ok. AS REGARDS our rib steak, we propose you a fresh meat of 250g distinguished(thoroughbred) in 15 euros 50, you do not find better as value for money somewhere else! This place in the context of Lacanau is mid-priced and the food is tasty and reflects the local predominance of see food. Prawns and crab were really good; chefâs tapas was quite good but did not have everything that it was listed on the menu and the âchefâsâ surprise seemed to be an extra large helping of ham. Salad was a little gritty. Having said that, my family and I enjoyed the meal and did go back for a second visit which is more than could be said for a number of pricier restaurants we tried in Lacanau-Ocean. They do seem to struggle (based on walking past rather than our direct experience) at peak times - exhibited by dirty plates building up on tables and people grumbling about time to serve. Choose a less busy time and this is fine for reasonable food.
