I've been a 'de Beren' lover for years.Went to this one in a Sunday evening for dinner. Easy access from high way, easy parking.The Beren restaurants are always decorated with toy bears, and this one in Hoofdorp relatively simple and lean with decorations. I missed bears a little here, but okay I came for food.Seated at a corner, not a busy evening. The ground floor was about 80% seated. Had a looong waiting for making oders, after drinks were served. The waiting time was too long, so I am now removing a star.Ordered spare ribs and vegetarian risotto. Both are delicious and I have compliments for the taste and quantity.Tried apple crumbles, also good. Recommend it to meat lovers. You may not get a long waiting time as I did. In general it's good value of money.

The Claus bowling in Hoofddorp is part of a large entertainment complex including also restaurants and a conference hall. I was there for a stand-up politics rally by a Dutch politician. There is plenty free parking outside. It is walking distance from the Courtyard by Marriott Hoofddorp. Dear guest,Thank you for sharing your positive feedback with us. The Gallery cafe is the internal restaurant of the rather fabulous Hyatt Place hotel in Hoofddorp (in my opinion the Place to be in Hoofddorp, the best of the airport oriented hotels). The Hyatt has free parking and free breakfast, but the food at the Gallery Cafe is far from free, it is actually quite expensive ... similar to the food at the Marriott Courtyard actually. But the quality is outstanding. Papa's Beach House is wonderful at all season. I had the opportunity to have lunch there and ordered the new winter version of the Cesar's salad. My friends ordered a juicy burger and chicken saté and to everybody food has seemed delicious. It's a small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, service is good and the music in background is lovely.If you crave for a good steak It's the right place,the meat is always fresh and perfectly cooked , being Italian I can also say the pasta is really good (try the carbonara).
