An talian Trattoria with an international touch based in the past but looking at future...
Both the food and the atmosphere was very good and the staff is quite friendly. We also got some clams from the chef free of charge which was a pleasant surprise not to mention a delicious one. Grazie davvero

The philosophy of our restaurant cannot exclude the nature of our farm, which rears pigs and cattle but also offers a wide variety of courses which are the outcome of our best culinary tradition. So you can eat "crescia sfogliata" (a kind of puff pastry f
This was a real treat. Despite being in high season, there seemed to be only a few people eating here and the food and atmosphere were superb. We sat outside, overlooking the beautiful mountains in the distance. Food-wise, the portion sizes were alarmingly large and we couldnât eat nearly all of what we ordered. We shared a salami plate between two of us and, with an enormous basket of warm, mixed breads, and a couple of side dishes thrown in, this would have been more than enough to eat. The meats and other things on the menu, I understand, were raised/grown on the site and the quality was superb. Nevertheless, we had ordered pasta with wild, rather tough, asparagus and a side dish of rather bland raw tomatoes and onions that we were too full to eat. Our friends had dishes similarly delicious to our own: pasta with truffles and gnocchi with rabbit sauce (amazing, and enjoyed by an 11-year-old). This would be a lovely place to stay and is certainly a lovely place to eat. The food is probably similar to what you can get in many Italian places, but the view is incomparable.

L'Osteria del Brigante, attentive to the care of the guests in every detail, in a cozy, warm, elegant and cozy, offers typical products of high quality and traditional recipes with pasta strictly "handmade" and homemade cakes, with some tasty contaminatio
You know when you're somewhere special as soon as you arrive! There's something different in the welcome! We had booked a table, and the service was something special! The waiters were exceptional, but not intrusive! And very funny too!We asked for advice re portions and probably seriously over did it as we couldn't finish everything! I'd recommend sharing dishes as the portions are huge! We enjoyed their speciality starter of six fish dishes divided between 4 of us! Absolutely amazing! Then had another starter of calamare, again divided in 4. Delicious but too much as a starter! Next we had risotto which was very tasty too, but so rich! Then another course of sea food pasta! We could certainly have had half the amount! But that was our fault, not the restauarant's!After the meal we were offered and enjoyed free liquers and chocolates. What a treat! Can't recommend this place highly enough! The only downside is it's a bit off the beaten track! So car or taxi is a necessity.
