Spent the day in Providence and checked out several restaurants downtown that were promising but were either overpriced or couldnât seat us. Out of town we search TripAdvisor and found this wonderful restaurant that had fantastic reviews and we were so glad that we stopped! Upon the attentive server, Caraâs, recommendation I ordered the baked Scrod with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. It was wonderful, ample portions, and the Greek salad on the side was terrific. My husband had steak tips which were perfectly done. Wish we had room for desert. If we lived closer we would certainly be back.Thank you very much for your kind words! We truly appreciate them. We are so glad you had a great time during your visit and we truly hope to see you again very soon! We chose speros often because they are down the street. But they are notorious for not having our order ready. We will call it in and go to pick up, and just wait. We;ve had to remind them we are there! Their food is so-so. We often get the chicken parm sub, steak and cheese subs, or the greek salad. The steak and cheese subs are good though - I get it toasted with onions. The greek salad is okay - very big but too expensive. The boulevard pizza shop is almost next door and just as good.
