Together with my husband and almost 2-year old son, we visited the restaurant a couple of times and every time we were very satisfied with the food, the location and the service. We tried both famous chicken souvlaki, and some local dishes and they all tested great. This is a very good choice if you want to taste Greek food. The owner is very hospitable and engaged in his work. You can see that he is also very passionate about the food and his family traditions. The restaurant is very family friendly. There is a special menu for children and also a nice playground where the children can have fun and parents can eat enjoying the meal and place. At the same time the restaurant is big enough, that if you don't like to be too close to chidren, you may find the quiet spot. Really worth recommending and if I ever go back to Tavronitis, I will come back to Vicenzos.

Yesterday (2.8.2019) our family with four kids and two adults visit your restaurant. We got this restaurant recommended by our hotel, and where super happy with the service and fantastic food. After trying several restaurants in this village I can say this is the best fish tavern. Let them suggest you about the catch of the day and youâll have a good experience. The take the fish directly from the fish shop in front of the restaurant owned by the fisherman. As usual they offer you a dessert at the end of the dinner or fresh fruit and raki. The location is also nice and the service is very good.

Very pleasant, tranquil setting right opposite the sea. No noise from cars or other means of transport..A lot of attention was paid to the serving of the food and the plates which we received all looked very attractive. The service was prompt, efficient and very friendly. Considering the quality of the food the price was very reasonable. The complimentary cake was the tastiest that I have had anywhere. All in all a lovely place for both couples and families to eat. We will certainly be going again some time in the near future.

Absolutely fantastic cuisine! Delicious and fresh sea food. Tasty local wine, liquor and freshly cooked desserts! Moreover, you can buy here homemade local Greek liquor with rose, that is great for the presents!!! We definitely recommend this restaurant for a visit!

We previously visited 3 years ago for lunch and so decided it was time for a return to celebrate my wife's birthday. They pride themselves in providing Cretan dishes in a style that is different to the usual taverna fayre. My wife had lamb and mushroom risotto whilst I had smoked pork fillet and once again the food was excellent. We had a bottle of the house red.As a treat this worked well however our preference is for hearty taverna food at cheaper village prices.

The first time in Kolymbari we've been tempted by a proper taverna. Goat tasted good but slow cooking needs another couple of hours to produce the best 'fall off the bone' type dish. Overall somewhat disappointed but the different rakis helped soften the blow. Very friendly but somewhat puzzled by its rating.

Returned to Crete this year and straight to Giaourtoplimmira for our first meal. Same excellent food and service. Children insisting on enjoying their meals here throughout their holiday. Highly recommended.

awesome fish - delicious and very fresh. Lovely service - you feel to be the part of the Greek family - owners really cares how do you like the food and atmosphere. Everything was very tasty and for very reasonable price. Plus you get a very good desert and limoncello as a present at the end. We truly enjoyed this place and were visiting it several times during our stay in Stalos.
