We arrived a bit mob handed (9 of us) at Sunday lunchtime and after a bit of a language impasse the waitress found us seats (actually using a couple of tables reserved for a later booking). The menu is a bit fish dominated but everyone found something to eat and all the plates were cleared. The surprise was the price, other nearby eateries are much more expensive and whilst that wasn't the drive behind eating here it was quite welcome.

What more would you want? Oh, yes, friendly staff, which this place has sorted as well.Traditional German menu. The Weissbier was recommended by a local, but they did not have that on tap, so I had a (or, maybe a couple) Helles, which was great as well.I look forward to having the opportunity to visit again.

The restaurant is quite fast. The food is delicious (certainly, you need to like German Schnitzel). We ate Wiener Schnitzel and we good served. The toilets are very clean and the people there were nice. We ate in the roofed terrace and it is protected from the sun

Located within a short distance to the autobahn exit it is easily accessible when travelling, especially since a hotel is also available for stay. The food is very good, but the menu has limited choices and changes frequently. I am told that during November they offer a special meal of goose roast and reservations are highly recommended. They do have limited hours for lunch and dinner that they are open. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Also a good place for groups and special occasions dining, including weddings.

Hotel' main restaurant is located in the 'old' or historical part of the hotel. Very cosy, warm atmosphere.Not a very big menu selection, but food is good and portions large. Prices are OK.Nice wine selection, rather expensive (compared to food prices).Service was OK (restaurant was full, we had to wait to place orders and refills - a couple of hands short...). Mmm. Wonderful schnitznel with green pepper sauce. I had mine with bratkartofflen while my wife and friend went with kroketten. Both potato dishes were good but not great. Great homemade bier was the reason we returned here and it did not disappoint. This is my go-to place for bier and food in Seligenstadt.

Had reserved here for dinner over the busy wine festival weekend. The ambiance is lovely, although bring your glasses to read menu in the low lighting! There was nice soft music with a piano player and a really great singer. We really appreciated it, not intrusive at all and the selection of songs was just perfect. In addition, the food was outstanding. The menu variety is very large and the portions are very generous. The starter sized spinach salad could have been a meal in itself as the salad had some side dishes, mushrooms and a cheese in a sauce dish, all so very good. The filet mignon was delicious as were the two side dishes I selected, beans with bacon and caramelized potatoes with rosemary. It is certainly on the pricey side but well worth it. The meal was very memorable and this was by far the best restaurant we ate at in Seligenstadt over three days.
