While visiting family in Ecuador we got invited to eat a Muckis. The restaurant is located in a town call âEl Tingoâ around 10 min drive from San Rafael. When I said itâs a hidden gem I meant it. You will have to drive through few small roads before finding the restaurant. The building look like an old museum house, which add to its uniqueness. It truly felt like we were eating at a family house. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, with many choices from meets to sea food. The price is fair based on the food quality. With that said each entrée goes from $20 to 40$, I think this is considered fine dine. If you are concerned about prices make sure you ask the server before you order, because there is no menu. Again, I highly recommend eating here during to travels to Ecuador.

Went with the family for lunch. Excellent service, the waitress was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. Great place to go for German food. Make sure to go with reservations. There is a huge yard for the kids to play. They also serve brunch. Haven't tried it yet but will definitely go.
