We visited this place for the second time before going to the football stadium which is just one stop away.This time, we were more then disappointed.We spent much money for nothing.We had to Schnitzels with fries for more then 10 Euros each. And it was just terrible. Really disgusting food.The best thing was that they tried to serve us an appetizier totally different then on the menu. After complaining and asking they couldn't offer us a better price or anything else so that we returned it.Very busy and noisy. Very uncomfortable to eat there.We recommend everyone to stay at the city centre and eat there.For example at the 'Wirtshaus zur Brez'n'. You can get there a lunchmeal for 6 Euro which is far better then the stuff at this place.Sorry guys!But your kitchen and service is more then terrible.Just want to make quick money. Very bad hospitality.

My Bavarian friends were mildly surprised when they revisited this restaurant, after many years. It's been beautifully renovated . After tasting the Obadtza, a Bavarian cheese served with pretzels; we knew that we had to stay for dinner. The traditional food is well prepared, the local beer delicious.

The pork steak was simply awesome - crispy skin, the meat was tender (fries was from my colleague hence not part of the dish), sauce was richThe Augustiner beer was also superb. Had the typical bavarian Kaiserschmarrn with a bit of ice cream for lunch and it was great!! Service was friendly and attentive. And the best thing was that there is a beer garden in the back which is really nice. The owners have 2 big friendly dogs. The only negative thing was this time that the ec card machine was not working and I had to go to the bank to get cash (which is around the corner anyway). Defo a place to recommend for chillaxed dinner or lunch. Very traditional location as well as food.

It is a relaxing place inside a litle forest. we go there by feet in a small walk 10 minutes from the metrostation of garching.the biergarden is near to a river whith a watermile.it is avery nice place whith a lot of fun and relax.

We stop often at this Gaststätte on the way back to Munich when using the alternative road to the highway. Itâs a very good restaurant offering true Bavarian food in a very clean and neat ambience. Meat is simply exceptional, very likely they use their own Metzgerei or a local one not far from then. Veal is incredibly tender and the Wiener schnitzel a joy for the palate. Cordon blue cooked to perfection and Spätzle absolutely gorgeous. Prices a bit over average but the quality justify them. Of course beer is great and to note that Spezi served there is made with Afri Cola which gives a even more refreshing taste to the drink. When in Garching stop there and get some good food and refreshing.

The beer garden offers simple but delicious food, there is an a la carte option for the restaurant and the beer garden. The portions are very generous, the prices are moderate, the quality of he food is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. I had two meals - I enjoyed dorade and I had a beer garden meal of a meatball and cabbage salad, washed down with a cool beer.:-) Thank you very much for your nice review about beergarden and restaurant!
