Visited this restaurant on spec so no preconceptions. Menu short but adequate. Restaurant was not full on entering a little before 20.00hrs, but soon filled up when the theater broke for the intermission. I had the gravalax, onglet de bœuf, and the pannacotta all on the menu express for 26 euros. The gravalax and it’s cream were good, the bread wonderfull, but the onglet de boeuf was superb, tender and tasty, fries too were good. Pannacotta excellent if not a little too big. The wines by the glass superb - Pouilly Fume and St. Emilion. Would happily visit again. An other reviewer was quite right in saying the maître D transpires!!!

We luckily got into this restaurant at short notice. I'd have to say it's is one of the best restaurant experiences we've had whilst in France. The couple who run it are passionate about their wine and food. We don't speak French and the wonderful lady who is in charge of the floor carefully and meticulously explained each dish in English. My mouth was literally watering at the descriptions. The waiter was also super friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and they have a fantastic range of delicious wines by the glass (they keep the bottles in special machines to keep the open bottles airtight and at the perfect temperature) They suggested the perfect wines to match our dishes and each one was spot on. Overall the price was very reasonable considering the outstanding quality. The service was friendly and professional without being overbearing. The food was amazing. Don't miss this and you should reserve ahead to ensure a spot.

Great meal, very friendly staff and good lively atmosphere. Table for two a bit small though. I did not like having to queue to pay for the meal at the end as the waiting staff do not seem to be allowed to take your payment.Thank you for your message. Sorry for you having to wait for the payment although it is not due to us but to french regulation which oblige us to have a central payment. Regards

I know that the high temperature (34 C) was unusual for Orleans, but the lunch suffered this issue. Table was outside on the walkside under a small tent. The host was kind. Fois gras was good, the raw meat was very good. Coffee dessert was curious, but not great.
