Visited by coincidence (just passing by) and were very nicely surprised by the quality of the local wines, but also very tasty fingerfood. Will come back again ...

Cozy restaurant and guesthouse, few minutes away from the historic city centre of Meissen, right next to the Elbe river cycle path.

We had lunch here as part of a group on the Viking "Park-and-Ride" (a river cruise that wasn't cruising, but was using buses instead). The schnitzel was good, but the restaurant was uncomfortably warm. It was in the mid to high 90s Fahrenheit, and the restaurant has no air conditioning.
