Been a few times and had really good food & service. Unfortunately none on the 19th April.No service , despite booking a table. Ordered all at barFood quality gone downhill... didnt even taste the same, the chicken wings was completely different.. and HORRIBLE!!! Nachos burnt and dry chilli... HORRIBLE... loud music in the middle of the day, blaring in the restaurant area.... HORRIBLE.Afraid to say I wont be back with this new chef, new ideas... utter rubbish... McDonalds could cook better.I am sorry you did not receive the level of service we strive for, and you should expect, on the day you visited. Please do come and give us another try and you will see that the teething problems you experienced on the day of your visit when we were making changes to our staff have been fully resolved.

Been here 3 times in the the last month the first 2 times we were served by Vickie she was amazing with a family party we had for my nephews birthday made the whole night a fun and enjoyable experience especially with the recommendations on the different gins that myself and my mum really enjoyed. The food was excellent great steaks cooked to perfection all served with unlimited chips and salad which we found great value for money. Our second visit was with friends also served by Vickie on this night she had remembered us from the previous week again a brilliant night had by all food was mostly great apart from one steak being over cooked Vickie handled it amazingly was very apologetic and had a fresh one out to us very quickly. However our third visit was not as great hence the 3 star review my husband and myself visited this week was slightly saddened to see Vickie wasnât working but we do get everyone has days off after being served by Vickie twice we expected everyone to have the same high standards but after being seated it took a while for anyone to come over to us when our waitress finally came over there was no smiles no engagement with us she looked as if she was fed up and didnât want to be there at all. Food came it was ok but not up to previous standards we had no check backs no second drinks offered we decided not to have dessert as the whole experience of the night had put on a bit of a downer. We will return but will definitely book and request to sit with Vickie if she is working she is a credit to the company and personally a few other could learn how to behave with customers and what customer service actually is.Hi 319nickir,Thanks for your review. Really yummy food, very accommodating pub staff (as we also had our five month old with us), offered to warm milk if needed and to rearrange tables if we wanted more space for baby seat. Great food that even my fussy dad liked. Would fully recommend.

This was my third visit to the Dragonfly, and it did not disappoint. The food is consistently excellent every time. with friendly and attentive. I had many questions about the menu, and the staff where very knowledgeable about there products. The food came in great time, and it came tasting fresh at hot. For a low cost menu you think the quality may not be up there... this is not the case at the dragonfly. Cant wait to go back. Get yourself down there for a great meal in a warn friendly atmosphere. We decided to stop off for a Sunday lunch. It's a lovely place, the staff our friendly (especially Jasmine who looked after us very well), the food was great and the prices are reasonable. Has all the hallmarks of a place in terminal decline. Limited menu with only mains and puds. No starters. Food unremarkable: standard fayre done Ok but nothing more. Ambience zero, atmosphere the same. Prices cheaper than when it was in previous hands but now there's no reason to go out of your way to visit (which there was before) No real choice on beers. Average in every respect.

We've eaten here in the past, and usually the food was good, but it did lose its touch a little and we've not been back for a a year or so. however this time we found the staff to be very Friendly, especially our waiter. Our roast diner was lovely, the beef was just the way we like it, slightly underdone and very tender. We would mostly certainly go back

We were a large group for a surprise birthday meal. We had all pre ordered but right from entering to leaving the pub, the service we received was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was hot, good portions and tasty. A gastro pub so prices are higher but worth it and we'll definitely be back! Good selection of beverages, cosy pub environment; only thing I can't comment on is the the lavatories but I heard no complaints from other party goers.

We were recommended to try this pub and restaurant and were not disappointed. The two or three course lunchtime menu was excellent value at £22 or £27 The food quality and service was excellent and the interior is what you want from a country pub.We shall defiantly be returning and recommend.
