I mean, the food was good (we had the tapas menu for chf 85 each one), the wines also but nothing was really ever mind blowing. Very basic desserts (fondant au chocolat and a sorbet). The waitress were really kind and the place was also quite cosy. But we came here thinking that we were going to a gourmet restaurant. This for me is more of a good bistro. However, it seems to be the closet place to fine dining in Interlaken

Simply excellent food and satisfying meals is the beginning and end of this review. I have seen reviews criticising ambience and service. We are a family of four 2 adults and 2 children and it would be our dinner stop before we boarded the train. The location is so convenient right next to Interlaken Ost train station. Yes, there are very busy and filled with Chinese tourist groups. They may not attend to you very well, but once the food arrives one is really happy. Food is served quickly, the portions are large and its very tasty. I think its a family run restaurant with all of them chipping in. Considering Swiss prices I also believe its value for money.
