Me and my wife went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and tried a lot of different places in the area. My wife is a very picky eater and since we found Asian fusion we havenât eaten anywhere else. This food is the best in the area and is also the cheapest. The shrimp pancit is her favorite and she orders it religiously. Iâve ordered the eel sushi, the beef teriyaki, the spring rolls and I am eating the miso soup right now and they are all deliciousWeâre glad to hear that you love food.. thank you for your good comment. I was really surprised at the quality of this place. But first things first. The restaurant is located inside a gated community on top of the hill or mountain, whatever you want to call it. The restaurant is open concept with fully open walls situated next to the infinity pool, which when it's light provides breathtaking views.But that is not the only one selling point for the restaurant. The place has a bar which is a great thing when you're in the pool. But the food is also amazing. I don't know how the other dishes are but the seafood and steak that we had ordered were amazing. The place wasn't packed but it was definitely busy. It always seems to be busy but it closes pretty early by New York standards but by Costa Rican it seems to be pretty normal.

We walked up and had their "all day happy hour" (2 for 1 drinks) and dinner while watching the sunset on the beach. The staff was wonderful and food and drinks, delicious. They had live music as well. Highly recommend.

During a visit to Playa Conchal, arose the desire to feel connected to the surrounding neighborhood, so why experience the area through one of its restaurants?After deciding to arrive at Ander's Restaurant, it was immediately clear that excellent service would definitely be the standard for the rest of the night. Javier, our very attentive host, provided a warm and sincere welcome, and proceeded to inquire about any food restrictions and preferences, as well as consulted with Chef Ander regarding some options (not on the menu) to cater to a vegetarian's regimen. By surprise, both were happy to offer a few different plates that delivered on every detail.In relatively short order, arrived the most delicious, well prepared and nicely presented meals one could find in Brasilito. Nice texture, fresh ingredients, savory taste - perfect way to end the day.Add to that the authentic beach vibe, clean and orderly tables (glasses, tableware and tablecloths) and more than accesible price - for me that's an EASY five out of five "Excellent rating"!

Green Papaya was my favorite place I ate in Tamarindo. Aside from being decorated SO boho-chic with an open air dining room and swings for chairs, the food was also very delicious. I always recommend Green Papaya when I have friends traveling to Tamarindo. It's a bit off the main streets but in very close proximity (walking distance) to all the other bars and restaurants.

What a gem right outside the gates of hacienda pinilla. So far have eaten here twice during our ten day stay. First time everyone got fish and they ran out right at my order (sigh) so we came back a second time. Everything is awesome on the menu and they even made me a special fish plate as requested a salad and fish. Considering the prices inside the gates this place is worth the five minute trek. This was an incredible experience! Not only do you get a unique and delicious meal made in front of you while you relax, Noam also provides excellent conversation. Take the time to appreciate both the fine dining (each dish with a story and made from local ingredients, including from Noamâs own garden), but also Noamâs life story in general. You wonât regret it!Thank you Kate for being my first dinner of the low season: the two of you are so loving, and kind and fun. I had such a wonderful evening.
