Great setting and great food. The waiter suggested the grouper if I liked fish and indeed I do and it was perfect. Really fresh liked it jumped from the sea onto my platter, well via the oven. Tried the local favorite - mofongo and it was decent. So nice to be able to enjoy good food in a nice outdoor setting.

Solera is the beachfront bar for Laconcha Renaissance hotel on the codado section of San Juan. One might never find it unless staying there, but it is geeat! Good food and drink by two pools and the beachfront. What is better than escaping the cold and having an art ndant refill your glass when it is empty, lying in the sun?Turkey club is very good. My steak came with a tahina sauce, a cannelini bean mixture, churrasco chimichurri sauce (green herbal blend somewhat like a softer pesto) with cherry tomatoes. Appetizer of small diced beets and smoked pork in a lemony vinaigrette was delicate and well balanced. Partner enjoyed lamb stew with morrocan notes in the sauce - a caution that the bones are cut into pointy little pieces and laced throughout the dish to add flavour. Served with jasmine rice. A nice rose from Cotes de Rhone went well with all. Sometimes the visa machine acts up, but there is a bank machine nearby.

Found this place while looking for "Taco Tuesdays" and I was absolutely NOT disappointed! House tacos for $2.22, and these are seriously unique. I was in San Juan for business for 4 weeks straight and I visited this restaurant at least 4 times. The food is consistent, the drinks are balanced, and the service is friendly. I even managed to get myself remembered by consistently ordering tamarind lemonade, which is only on the menu due for a typo.

Our niece made our plans for this evening for a special dinner for my husband and I. Our waitress, Lisa, was exceptional. She made great recommendations and great conversation as well. The presentation of the food was exceptional. Not what you expected. The chef, Peter, was friendly and his food amazing. This restaurant is a definite must. Itâs expensive but good. I mean great food is worth it.

Stopped here based on Trip Advisor rating and this one is listed as the No. 1 in San Juan. Not far from the truth. We had a delicious dinner and Miguel gave us wonderful service. We had a Cabernet for Wine and it was good. Some cheese for Starters and I had Steak & Shrimp as a Main Plate. Everything was perfect and it was a great time
