Maracuya is the on site restaurant at the Bahia Pez Vela resort villas where we were staying. On our first night it was easy to walk over after a long trip. We were not sure what to expect , but our food was superbly prepared and we met our server for the week,Cesar. Cesar and the other staff work tirelessly to ensure your visit is special. Even the poolside lunch menu was quite good with excellent smoothies. Some nights there were local entertainers making a very enjoyable evening. Our meals at Maracuya were the best we had during our visit to Costa Rica.

After a week in town we finally got around to trying this place and wish we had found it sooner. Made to order pizzas and a full list of traditional Italian dishes, all of them beautifully presented and tastily prepared.Outdoor dining and a very gracious wait staff made our visit all the more enjoyable. My wife is a vegan and they were very accommodating

The restaurant at Villa del Suenos is a superb fine dining experience with excellent service, food quality and flavors. The atmosphere & staff are extra special with such a tropical, European feel, very classic. I had the Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection and the garnish of oven roasted tomatoes exploded with flavor on my palette. Read some reviewsâall excellent food but a bit expensive. Most of the entrees were between $14â$22âwell worth a ridiculously delicious & plentiful meal served with classy & attentive service. First we had the thinly sliced & nicely seasoned octopus appetizer. Very unique & delicious. Our entrees were the beef & portobello risotto, which was bathed in the most ârobustoâ red wine reduction risotto that made us both fight over it. Also, we had the shrimp in orzo dish which was equally as flavorful as the other one. For $19 & $20, you will not find a better value for your money. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with an outdoor terrace that would be wonderful on a cooler evening , but we sat inside to enjoy to nice , cool a/c. The husband & wife owners are from Venezuela & Barcelona & are both very friendly & classy. When youâre in Cocoâtreat yourself to a great meal & experience. Buen provecho!!! (Thatâs the Spanish equivalent to âBon Appetitâ. No extra charge for the Spanish lesson!).

Our group of 15 people showed up at Johann shortly after they opened for the day. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a well priced lunch in Coco. The size of our group did not alter their ability to quickly make the meals and drinks. We were very satisfied! Thanks Johanns!
