Find out what Fusion restaurants to try in Charleston. Once a frontier town and home to Daniel Boone, today Charleston is the historic, sophisticated capital of West Virginia and home to a variety of exciting cultural and recreational attractions. The State Capitol, with its gleaming 23-karat gold dome and classic 20th-century architecture, is truly a sight to see. Most of the city's major landmarks are located right around the Capitol, making it easy to see everything. Wander around the meticulously landscaped grounds to view statues of historic figures like Stonewall Jackson and Abraham Lincoln. History and culture buffs will want to spend some time at the Cultural Center, which includes a state museum, reference and archive libraries, a theater and plays host to special events throughout the year. For those who prefer outdoor endeavors, more than a hundred miles of spectacular scenery await you on the Midland Trail scenic highway, also known as U.S. Route 60. Hop off at any point to do some antiquing, biking or hiking. The Kanahwa Forest offers more than 9,000 acres of exploration and recreation just south of town. Shopping, interesting attractions and plenty of outdoor fun make Charleston an ideal getaway.

Took forever to get someone to take our order but it appeared there was only one server. Once she got to our table, she was very responsive and good. The Lavender Martini was really good and creatively presented (see the attached picture). The Manhattan wasn’t the best. First, they didn’t add the staple maraschino cherry so I had to take it back to the bar for one so it was a true Manhattan. The food was good for most, I thought it was so-so. The atmosphere is really cool and if we were here at a different time of day, the atmosphere would have been so much better. And for the men, hopefully you don’t need to “drop a deuce” because they only have urinals in the men’s room. Oh, and don’t come between 2:30 and 3:00 because they switch menus from brunch to lunch and only serve appetizers.

The lunch menu is the only thing available from 11:00 - 5:00, and it is limited to burgers, sandwiches, and salads. I ordered a Cubano, but apparently they didn't have all the ingredients to make it. Those missing items also knocked a few other sandwiches off the menu. Their chicken club was not a club sandwich at all - it was a big fried chicken breast with bacon and swiss cheese - but it was tasty. My daughter had a burger, and it was not overcooked () . Service was friendly, but not particularly attentive. Overall, we're glad we found this place, but wish we could have ordered off the dinner menu, which looked great.

Noah's Restaurant and Lounge

Noah's simplified menu is refreshing and has something for everyone. The food is high quality and thoughtfully prepared. I had a delicious grilled romaine salad followed by crab encrusted scallops tempura. The meal was delicious and the scallops prepared perfectly. This was followed by lava cake with their house made vanilla ice cream, which is remarkable. Everyone at the table commented on the ice cream. The price point makes this restaurant a special occasion treat.
