I dined here my first night in Tokyo. Definitely a highlight of my two weeks around Japan. The food was amazing, a taste sensation! Chefs really made it fun as well. Wine pairing was also great. A hundred-year-old zelkova beam and a mosaic wall. The restaurant, with its array of Japanese and Western antique furniture, has an atmosphere where art-nouveau and Japanese style meet, and it is just like a museum. Not only does the counter feature a hot
It was our first time here at Ginza Ukai-Tei and the restaurant was just lovely from the beginning to the end. The entrance was amazing with a nice red carpet and fun decorations. Since our party has eight people, we were given a private table. They usually required everyone to order the same course in this table but gave us an exception since we had a number of elderly family members. Both menus are excellent and of course the more expensive dinner course features better quality ingredients like truffles, blue lobster, and better beef. The dessert is the same - Christmas strawberry cake. LIke many high class teppanyaki restaurant, you went to a different section/room for dessert. I highly recommend Ukai-Tei and will definitely return in the future.

Great evening - bit of fun, fab service and some nice food. Fully enjoyed this and would recommend to others travelling to Tokyo. Of course aimed at tourists, but so what. They knew how to welcome us and have a laugh. Great place!

My partner and I were there for the Cherry blossom season and it turned out Chef. Narisawa had incorporate quite a lot of the sakura elements into his dishes. We have the sakura cocktail and it was so delicious. We were very impressed by their talented team because they definitely brings out the best of Japanese cuisine. Every single dish was prepared very diligently. Japanese element was presented in all the dishes. We were constantly Wowing all the time. Only downside was the restaurant was very noisy. Loved the experience so much, mus visit in Tokyo!
