We visited Anne-Sophie & her team often in De Kwizien and we were very pleased to experience them doing their own project. And a very nice experience it was! Good symbiosis of kitchen and service. We had the 8-course menu and to be honest, we were sorry not to have taken the 12 courses... because we would have loved to be pleased 4 times more! The kitchen really did a great effort creating all these nice dishes. And theyâve only been open little more than half a year! Curious to see where this could lead them. Also a thumbs up for the maître de service and sommelier Daan who really kept a good overall view and who was perfectly into pace with the kitchen. Served, in his own style, his wines with good knowledge and flair. Canât wait to be back in Hasselt for a second visit!Keep up the good work!!

limited choice for the business lunch but very good and with the necessary flexibility for allergies - top class, chef. Interior is OK. Warm welcome and service by the owners-couple. The other staff is rather inexperienced - information about dishes or questions about drinks are not what it should be. They didn't see or check if our glasses were empty. I had to ask for refill of water, I had to remember them that my guests had decided to wait with coffee/tea till after dessert. Etc.... All of this was perfectly corrected by the lady of the house. Price/quality ++

De retour après 6 mois dans ce beau & excellent restaurant, force mâest de constater que la Chef Nancy et sa compagne Sophie en Salle frisent la perfection absolue dans leur catégorie.Grâce à une météo parfaite, nous nous sommes attablés à une des tables de leur superbe terrasse. La carte des plats est courte mais rassurante, pour garantir la parfaite fraîcheur des préparations, joliment mises en valeur dans de belles assiettes de circonstance.Notre déjeuner fut en tous points parfait (mises en bouche, entrées, plats, fromages & desserts.La carte des vins, attrayante et bien équilibrée, a fait notre bonheur grâce à une délicieuse découverte de la région du Languedoc.En résumé, un sans fautes !Je mâautorise néanmoins à suggérer modestement une amélioration dans la préparation du pain maison, qui dénote légèrement par rapport au niveau élevé de toutes les composantes de notre repas.Prochaine visite dâores & déjà envisagée dans quelques mois.

Rustig gelegen, hedendaagse inrichting, een ronde tafel voor 8 personen.Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, klantgericht en dit alles in een gemoedelijke sfeer.Apero van het huis; cava rosé, vergezeld van een drietal amuses. Prima opener !Een uitstekende witte puglia wijn (Verdicchio) bij het visvoorgerecht.Keuze van het hoofdgerecht uit parelhoen (met een rode wijn: Corbières) of koolvis.Verfijnd, wel met dezelfde groente garnering, normale porties. Zeer gesmaakt.Ons gezelschap koos voor dame blanche en vooral voor het appel-kaneel-(karig)caramel dessert. Perfecte timing van de opvolging van de gerechten. De chef bracht ook een gerecht en maakte even tijd voor een kort gesprek.Een geslaagde avond. Voor ons een verborgen pareltje met een mooie prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.Verhuis van de zaak naar Hoeselt gepland in mei 2020. Aanrader !

Wow, this was a brilliant evening, everything exceeded our expectations. This was fine dining at itâs best. Gastronomic pearls that are being served with a smile. Not the cheapest but well worth every penny. An exquisite enjoyment all the way!
