Prima gegeten, dagmenu genomen en de kok had dit prima aangepast om er een glutenvrije versie van te maken. Bierkeuze is ruim, gezellig buiten gezeten en lekker losse bediening. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding zeer goed vandaar 5 sterren !

Vriendelijke ontvangst zelfs voor onze baby en kleuter die één en ander aangeboden kregen. Kleine kaart en nog kleinere wijnkaart maar wel met eerlijke prijzen voor wat op je bord en in je glas komt. Het was een lekker etentje in een gezellige omgeving.

Zalige avond gehad. Super vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijke bisque van garnalen. Extra grote salade met verse zalm, coquilles, scampi's enzovoort. De kinderen worden in de watten gelegd met kleine attenties. Als we een klein puntje kritiek moeten geven: een nootje of chipje bij het aperitief zou aangenaam zijn. :) Topplaats!

The food is not at standard with their prices.The location is very beautiful the design the furniture very nice. Service is ok but the food I didn't like. I had a 3 course dinner and I didn't like any of the 3 courses. They should change the menu and make some better choices in garnishes especially the deer( with pasta?) doesn't go well.

We had a lovely Saturday evening here with lovely food and an enthusiastic host who guided us through how their menu works. All you can eat, three course meal or just individual dishes. It was really good value. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area. The rest of the staff were lovely too.

Hier van de week wat gegeten, buiten op het terras. Beperkte menukaart, maar voldoende keuze. Ook interessante 3- en 4-gangen menuutjes voor een super prijs. Het is gen haute cuisine, maar prima bistro eten. Vriendelijke bediening en lekke rgegeten. Jammer wel dat het terras aan een vrij drukke straat zit.

This new restaurant / brasserie in the center of Waalwijk was a place I wanted to visit since its opening some time ago. Today we arrived back from our holiday and to close it off we decided to have dinner here tonight. Their electronic reservation system works quite well and we booked a table which was confirmed right away. The location is central with plenty of parking. They have about 35 seats on one side of the building with lounge and lunch spaces on the other side. The decoration is luxurious but cosy and the kitchen is open but on a higher level. There are plenty of servants making you feel at home. We decided to take the 4-course menu and we had some delicious dishes. Wine is also available both in bottles and by the glass at reasonable prices for not too large quantities. My wife asked for no meat in the surprise menu but in the first instance she still got a meat dish. However this was quickly rectified and replaced by a fish dish. In all it is noticeable that they try to feel the guest at home here and the kitchen is clearly aiming for a high level. This sometimes results in some hocus pocus and that is not always necessary. The amuses were surprising, the bread good and the whole meal was a culinary delight. The bill did not have all items we consumed and therefore we gave a large tip to compensate that. My suggestion: do not overdo it in the kitchen, concentrate on the honest ingredients and structure your billing process.
