Bocuse Restaurant

Bocuse is the French restaurant at the Culinary Institute of America. Elegant setting; attentive service, complete with patient explanation of the different dishes and processes. Unlike many high end restaurants, portions here are good size. To my taste, the food is a bit froofroo and complicated, while not being exquisitely delicious - but very interesting nonetheless.

We had eaten at End Cut when they were in New Paltz. This new establishment is lovely. Very comfortable and the tables are spaced far enough apart that private conversations are possible. We loved our food. The menu is basically thesame as it was in New Paltz but there are many additions and specials. I had a delicious broccolini salad and cod. My husband had crab cakes and lamb and loved them both. A fabulous cup of coffee and an apple tart were a wonderful end to a great meal.
