Located not far from the Mission, this Belgian restaurant serves wonderful food. The Pate Maison was excellent and definitely a must try. The Beef Bourguignon was hearty and quite enjoyable. There is a wonderful ambiance in this restaurant which is quite nice. Will definitely return.

This little cafe rings of authenticity. The cherry wood counter, classic chairs, and inlays on the table tops just say, "There is pride and a passion for quality here."It's reflected in the service as well, complete with a French accent. The menu is varied with plenty of choices for you to enjoy inside or outside in the "sidewalk" portion of the cafe.It's open for breakfast and lunch and worth the visit. Converse, eat, surf, and enjoy.Thank you so much for your well written high compliments of your last visit with us. We took some friends to experience the latest addition to restaurants in Dana Point. Madison's owner & chef du cuisine Danielle has done a terrific job in opening this spot and providing a creative menu for all 3 meals. We had Coq au Vin & our friends had Osso Buco. We shared the Leek Pie & closed out with a chocolate tart. The wine was good & not too expensive. All around, this is a wonderful place for any meal & we've tried all 3.It's worth the effort to find this out of the way gem.

Small place with big prices. Would not have minded if they made you feel welcome and provided the service you would expect ...just about anywhere. Most people who came through the door waited endlessly for someone to acknowledge your presence and after being seated the waits were long...to order...to be served drinks...to get the bill...to accept payment for the bill. In the end we switched to cash just so we could leave. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars and not fewer is because the food was good and my husband said his steak was excellent and flavorful.
