Lovely setting inside or out, friendly staff and good menu, has a daily specials board which is really tasty. Only eaten here at lunchtimes so can't comment on the evenings. Will go back again.

They grow their own produce, including the ducks, and it shows in the flavours.Madam is very friendly and welcoming, you feel so at home. Everyone eats at two big tables. The home made 'Kirs' were a difficult choice with so many flavours - peach, apricot, lavender and more. The tomato mousse and salad starter was fresh and tasty. The duck with quince main course with potatoes and root vegetables all tasted very fresh. The home made cheeses are delightful - mainly goats cheeses from their own animals. This place is worth a detour to, we have already decided to go back and stay to be spoilt some more.

Le Bistrot De La Pastiere

We stayed in Chateauneuf De Gadagne for 4 days to attend a family wedding and as there was little choice of restaurants within teh village, we chose this as our last night meal venue with another family member and were surprisingly pleased by our experience. We had booked early evening on a Sunday and were shown to a great table on teh outside terrace with wonderful views out over teh village and towards Avignon. Service was efficient and friendly, teh menu offered a great variety from a la carte meat and fish dishes as well as pizza specials. We chose the a la carte. Wine was reasonably priced and can recommend their local Rose. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted very good. I would not hesitate to return to Le Bistrot De La Pastiere if we are ever in teh area again. thank you for a lovely last night in CdG.

Creperie Grill Pizzeria St Sat

Reviewed By RobA435

My girlfriend and I came here during our stay at Mas D'Almandier as unfortunately many restaurants are closed on a Monday, perhaps because we were out of season. Ourselves and one other couple we in the restaurant (also from Mas D'Almandier) - we were unsure about it as it appeared closed on arrival but when we knocked the on the window we were welcomed in.The restaurant has an extensive menu - many of them pizza's although no pizza's were possible on the night we came. We shared a salad to start (7 Euro) and I had a duck and foie gras crepe - a house special (17 euro) and it was really not good at all. My girlfriend opted for a hamburger (probably a safer choice) it came with no bun and potato fritter things that appeared cooked from frozen - it very much resembled a school dinner.Desserts again were expensive so we skipped them, but it wasn't a good meal and was as expensive as some wonderful meals we had in Avignon

We have visited Caumont-sur-Durance many times before. This summer we found this new restaurant being opened in the town (which doesn't really have any other better restaurants in the town). Very nice place and tasty menus. Had set menu which was delicious and of very high quality. Wine list also very impressive.

Each plate was a small work of art, and the portions were large. I was very glad that we only ordered the 5-course menu, rather than 8. As wonderful as each bite was, eight courses would have been much too much for us, and it would have been a shame to leave any of them uneaten. The prices, both food and wine, are very reasonable, for food and service of this quality. Service was impeccable and efficient. My only complaint is that the temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm. I know this was because we Americans love our air conditioning. The other diners all seemed comfortable, so I won't hold the restaurant accountable for that. I'm sure the temperature was fine, in accordance with local standards. Our waiter was working diligently, and seemed cool and dry the entire time. So, in spite of my own personal preference for a cooler room, I give them an excellent rating.
