If you want to try Cebu's famous liempo, come visit Mr. Liempo!We just stumble upon this small store while looking for another resto. It's not easily seen since it's infront of the shuttle service and P2P bus of Solenad Malls. So basically it is at the back of the building (Fiesta Market).You have to try their Liempo and their pinakurat sauce. Their liempo is so good and crispy. It's like eating bagnet & chicharon but the good thing, it is roasted and not fried. Their chicken is so-so. Not too special but still flavorful even without a lechon sauce or their dip. This branch offer add ons like atsara (soo yummy) and also leche & ube flan.Just spent less than 800 php for our family of 5. Not too bad. Cheap food but taste great!!!

(I am reviewing their Sta. Cruz, Laguna site since it's not yet listed on TripAdvisor.)You might be wondering why 50/50:- - PROS - -LOCATIONVery good. It's just across the street from Sta Cruz Provincial Capitol, you'll never have issues finding it. This branch is a little small compared to their other branches, but they still offer a small parking space for customers who brought their own vehicles.AMBIANCEYou'll immediately feel the cool temperature upon entering. While it was very hot and humid outside, inside was cool and comfortable. The lighting was also on point, not very bright, but not very dim. It was warm and cozy. We were seated comfortably, and we didn't feel like sardines even with the close proximity of the tables and chairs.FOODWe ordered a bunch of their best sellers that included Crispy Pata. Everything tasted good, the presentation was okay, but serving size can be improved. No complaints here.- - CON - - SERVING TIMEOh, it was unbearable. Like there were only three tables occupied out of I think, 10, but the serving time/cooking/preparation was definitely one of the worst I've had to date. It took them around 40 minutes just to serve the appetizer, plain rice, and soup. Guess how long we waited for the viands? You do the math. This is a no-no for a restaurant that's not even half full. I don't want to imagine the scenario where we dined here on a full house. Oh, the horror of our stomachs wouldn't allow it.I would still go back, but I doubt the serving time will improve.

We love going home as service is fast, food is often tasty and prices are reasonable. I like their noodle dishes and also their halo halo. The steam buns are also good, so authentic Chinese dishes here. My only negative comment is their egg noodles soup- lomi which is my fave is not as tasty. But the other foods- dim sims especially are great! Been to this place a few times with relatives and always a good experience. Also, please make sure you repeat your order, I did sy petite halo halo but they still gave me a regular sized one, though good thing, it was really great, I love it!

KFC has the product down and can serve it relatively quickly. They just haven't learned how to do it in a green way. Meaning since the plastic packaging has been banned the takeout packaging is an accident waiting to happen. I never get home without loosing a soda all over the car. I have them put the carrier in a bag as well and it helps but the cover invariably pops off and it's a mess with the paper bag. Yes it's paper but it's not thick enough paper. Given the prices it's unacceptable.

Just because they serve noodles doesn't make Chowking a Chinese Fast Food, it is really far from being a Chinese Food house, maybe it is better to say that Chowking is a Filipinese Food House. Yes, the combination of Chinese Filipino taste. The kind of Chinese Taste that appeals to the majority of Filipino people. But in fairness to Chowking, I go there too often, not for noodle dishes or dimsums but for their good HALO HALO, yes, I highly recommend their HALO HALO and their kangkong with bagoong.

This is a restaurant that whenever I get in and order, there is always something wrong with either the service or the food. But most of the time with the food and it's always with the portioning. I was shocked to get a very small bbq. I was looking at the menu board and the bbq in that photo is not the same as that served to me.

I love their spaghetti, good value and very tasty. The other products are not to bad either. Though service can be improved, unlike Jollibee their staff can be a bit unfriendly, not sure if this branch though, so please improve your training for your service people. For take away, there was missing cutlery, how can we eat our hot cakes without firk and knife? I supposed we should have checked. But we were rushing!
