We had cod and chips and plaice and chips last night as a take away, the batter was quite light and fish was well cooked and the chips were cooked well, it didnât feel heavy unlike some other fish and chips we have had in the past. Will definitely go back.

A really nice contemporary & very popular sea food restaurant in Eastbourne opposite the railway station, run by a very nice friendly & helpful Albanian couple called Pedro & Mira. Very clean, fast service, wide variety of food & drink on the menu & very reasonable priced, really generous portions and delicious food, all amazingly fresh fish & beautifully cooked.

A brilliant sit-down fish & chip restaurant. Wine, bottled beers and cider are available which is a bonus.Food was perfectly served, fresh and very tasty. They serve baked potatos as well as chips, in fact the menu is more extensive then you would expect.It is is out of the town centre a way but well worth finding.

Born and bred in EB, this was my regular noodle joint for Pad Thai when I was a kid.Being away from town, I have been itching to go back.Since my last visit, it is no longer a small noodle bar but a big noodle restaurant with another branch somewhere in town.Without further ado, the pad thai is a must and I also ordered the Mixed Vegetable chow mein as I have never tried their chow mein.For the pad thai, there are two versions, a vegetarian one and a non veg one which contains fish sauce.The vegetable pad thai tasted just as good as before but slightly different to the prawn pad thai as it was my first time having the vegetarian one.As for the mixed vegetable chow mein, the taste was fantastic.Each strand was uniformly flavoured and covered in sauce complimented by the crunchy vegetables.Will definitely be back for other noodles and the price tag is definitely affordable.Tap water is available and self service.

Our first visit and well worth it. We have been searching for a nice traditional café around the area for 3 years and now we have found it.Staff are very friendly, the food is nicely cooked and well presented. Excellent value for money, two breakfasts, one small and one large with tea and nice coffee came to £11.00. Beat that around the Polegate, Hailsham and Eastbourne area. Parking is easy in the street. A limited menu, but everything you need for a breakfast or lunchtime snack. Would be nice to have a choice of wholemeal or white toast, but other than that highly recommended. First time back after a while, and we really enjoyed an impromptu meal purchased here after a visit to the Eastbourne DG Hospital for a friend. It had been raining so our plan for a pizza from a local pub with a pizza oven in the garden ... well they crashed and burned.Dropped in to see Nick's team at Polegate Fisheries as our Plan B. We were swiftly served and enjoyed our meal at home instead.
