5 star ratings need to be earned - and this little unpretentious cafe delivers consistently. Go for the food. Ambiance is adequate, but the fresh, high quality food is unforgettable. Soups are fresh as are all ingredients. Service is adequate but not overwhelming. Ambiance is cafe. Prices are reasonable. The only item was that the romaine lettuce ends were brown - a lttle more attention to the little things would go a long way toward a five star location

We had been thinking about making reservations here for quite a while, and when Magic Dining month came up, we did it. We went at 6:30pm on a Thursday, to avoid crowds...the plentiful staff, not yet busy nearly overwhelmed us. Once the place filled up, service became normal.I chose mussels as my appetizers, and, while they were good 3 of the dozen shells were empty, and they weren't floating in the minimal broth. My husband had the mozarella in carrozzo and it was a large, tasty serving. We both had the veal scallopini with proscuito in a rich wine sauce...EXCELLENT...would have loved a bigger portion! Dessert was Tartufo for me....yummm, and cannoli for him. We each had a drink and a glass of wine, and shared a "thimble" of grappa...and that's where the price climbed! Our suggestion is to have a drink at home before you go, and one glass of wine there, as the prices are very high...a half bottle of wine costs from $60 - $90!Thank you for the wonderful review of Christini's Italiano Ristorante. Whilst a visit to an Italian restaurant may not always be top of my list, we do love a visit to the Olive Garden when in the USA. Notwithstanding the free breadsticks, soup and salad for appetisers (when ordering a main) the main course choices are always fresh, hot and delicious. The free appetisers are also delicious especially the warm breadsticks. There's a great selection of pasta dishes. Would highly recommend a visit.
