Fantastic dinner. Start to finish this place was excellent. Staff was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and preparation of that they were serving. Waiter described how the dishes were prepared and with what ingredients. Atmosphere is really unique, clean and very well executed, with cool lights, comfortable chairs and upscale finishes. This was our second visit to Aubergine and canât recommend it highly enough.We started with the houmous selection with bread. Very generous portions and the waitress brought us extra bread.For our main course I had the ribs and my partner had pork cheeks. Both were delicious. The generous portion of cheeks were succulent and melt in the mouth.The ribs were very meaty, very tasty and again melt in the mouth.It is a quirky building with lots of little rooms and an outside area. The rooms are nicely decorated in a modern style.We were eating early evening, they fitted us in. You would normally need to book a table as it seems very popular.In twelve years of visiting Bulgaria we have had some loverly meals but Aubergine been our favourite so far.Highly recommended!!

Went there for lunch today and ordered from the regular (not daily lunch) menu. I ordered burrata with chanterelle. But I received burrata with ordinary mushrooms. The waitress didn't even bother to ask me whether i would confirm the order with changed ingredients. the price was the same. The starter was fine, but this not what you might expect from this restaurant.

We got the skaptoburger and the bourbon burger and they were both delicious. The meat used as well as the vegetables were very fresh. Also the fries were homemade and very tasty. The staff was super nice and the music was excellent (especially if you are into hip hop)! Read some reviews and wanted to try Daro. Had breakfast there. First of all, hats off to the owner/chef for his friendliness. He makes it special with his suggestions what you should eat based on your mood.Secondly, the food is amazing. Attention to details. One order at a time.If I had more days in Sofia, would visit and try other things. Thank you very much for the kind words! I visited several times few places of the chain. Food is more or less OK, but it's too noisy, and service is above the average. They miss part of the order....If you pretend to have lunch or dinner in good restaurant with atmosphere this is not your place....
